Just a Note!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are all well and still managing to live your life as well as can be in this lockdown.
Our First Minister, announced our  road map towards opening things up a bit, geared up for next Thursday, but they will be very small steps, none of which will have any bearing on Alistair and I, so nothing changes there, and children will not be going back to school before August. So we are still staying home and staying safe.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last card, as always I do appreciate your visits and the time it takes you.

This image was a freebie from Clearly Besotted Stamps, and I've coloured in Altenew Watercolours in Spring yellows, and added washie tape. I found a box of it in a cupboard and haven't a clue how long it's been there, I thought the colours and designs went very well with the image. I've added some tiny clear gems. The base card is 3x3, and the sentiment is from a set by Clearly Besotted Stamps.
I'm not a lover of washie tape, but I rather like how this has turned out, so maybe I'll use it more.

Just a short post today, I had intended to go for a walk today, but as I type this, the rain is coming down in stair rods, and I have a full whirly gig of towels, I don't think that was supposed to happen today.
Anyhoo, stay well and safe and see you soon

What a beautiful card Kate. Love how you have made it pop. The bright summery colours are lovely. Sunshine here, but I believe we have to get rain tomorrow. Hugs Rita xxx

Your card is so lovely, Kate.
I love dafs. They are always so cheery looking, whether in the garden blooming or in a vase. I find it hard to pick them as I like the look of them in the garden best, so tend to purchase the cut daffodils that seem to be in buckets everywhere in the early Spring.

Your washi tape looks good. I have a small drawer full of it and rarely remember to use it. It is also great for taping down a die when you are trying to run a few through the big shot at once!

Must admit my rolls of Washi tape generally get used for holding dies in place when running through my due cutting machine. Yours look really good with the stamp. I have a few clearly besotted stamps. No rain here today but have taken the garden cushions in just in case we get some tonight. Hugs Mrs A.

A lovely fresh Spring card Kate. I'm like you and have never been keen on washi tape, but it suits this card perfectly.

A beautiful card Kate. Daffodils always
look so bright and cheery, one of the signs
of new life in the Spring and they always make
me feel happy. Washi tape is something I have
never used. I love how you have used it on your
card, the icing on the cake so to speak. Stay
safe and well my friend.
Hugs Jennifer xx.

Hi ya Kate. Calling in to say Helloooo!. Beautiful card. Isn't it funny, the weather forecast I saw (for the South) said that Scotland was going to have a lot of rain.I remember it because I thought of you. Hope the nicer weather comes to you soon so that you can have your walk. Sending hugs to you both, Flo xx
