Hello to all my Blogging Friends and Visitors, I hope you are all keeping well and are well ahead of your plans for the festive season.
I thought I could would pop on to my blog one last time, well at least for now, to say thanks to everyone who has been in touch to see how I am.
It's been quite a while since I last posted due to being quite unwell. In the summer my diabetic medication was changed with the hope of bringing myBG under control, unfortunately, the side effects were awful, making me feel quite ill. It did the trick and brought my BG down to really good levels and I lost weight, but I couldn't carry on being ill. So, I was put on an injection, in fact it's all over the news just now, it's the one our government wants to put overweight people on in order to get back to work. However, for me it's been successful in what it was developed to do, which is to control BG.
I am now off insulin completely after using it for 20 years with multiple daily injections. I've lost 2st. In weight too, so as you can imagine I am delighted, although it's been a long haul.
But I just couldn't get back into blogging, and commenting, felt like too big a chore. I've also not been making many cards., only what I need. I do however pop on to post on Instagram, it's easier.
So, that's what's been going on with me.
I'm putting this card on to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and I hope that 2025 will be a Happy and Healthy year for you all.
Take care of yourselves, love and hugs Kate 💖
