CAS for the CCC!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are well and enjoying your weekend.

It's time for the Christmas Card Club once again to show off their creations, and don't they come around sooo quickly.

The theme this time is to make a CAS card,

This was the nearest I could get to a clean and simple card, but I have left some white. I've used the lovely Rufus as the main feature, all stamps and sentiment are from Lavinia Stamps.

A quiet day at home catching up with the housework, it's gotta be done eventually lol.

Just a quick post from me today, take care and see you soon,

Bringing a Gift!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are tickity boo, and your day's been good. Dull, day here and much cooler. There weather seems to be so changeable at the moment.

Getting on fine with my Libre 2 Sensor, and thankfully my fingers are loosing the bruises caused by the finger pricking. I'm finding my reading quite intriguing as the BG is monitored all the time, I'm able to get an idea of how different food is is contributing to the readings, much easier to make changes in my eating habits.

I would recommend anyone with diabetes and on insulin and injecting more than once a day to ask about monitoring their BG with the sensor, it does save your fingers.

I've got a coloured pages today, from a Karla Markova book, Fairy Celebrations

Coloured with Prismacolor pencils, gel pen, Stickles, and soft chalk pastels. These two pages are side by side, not a double spread as such. Pity once again the photos are not brilliant, sorry.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last card.

That's me for now, take care of yourselves and see you soon,

It's a Topper or Three!

Hello To You All, I hope all is well with you and that you've had a good day.

I had a Freestyle Libre 2 sensor fitted today to monitor BG. My fingers have been so painful with all the finger pricking over the years that I've lost some sensitivity, plus I have arthritis in them.

This system is revolutionary for folks with Diabetes, however it takes a bit of cuffuffle  at the beginning, downloading the app, linking it all up on my phone, and understanding it all.  Alarms are set to go off if my BG goes too low or too high , which is good because occasionally I do go low but have no symptoms to let me know, so now I will. Anyway, it will take a bit of time to get used to it, and be able to read the reports, but I'm sure I'll get there. Technology can be helpful.

So, here is my card for today,

Inspired by Jo Rice from the Lavinia Stamps DT, I used the Topper to make this card, with a couple of foraging fairies, fairy charms and roses from the latest release of stamps. Sentiment is also Lavinia.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my previous card.

I'm off now to have a look at your blogs, so I'll say cheerio and see you soon,

Let the Bells Ring Out for CCC!

Hello Everyone, I hope your weekend is going well.  After a gorgeous day yesterday, it's raining , dull and a bit cooler here. Glad we got our drive out yesterday. Shopping and a visit over to see Damian and Moreen later, but that's all.

Anyway, it's time for the Christmas Card Club once again, honestly these two weeks go in so quickly, this time the theme is Bells, here's what I've made.

It's all Card-io stamps for this card, even the sentiment. I've used stamps from various sets, lots of glitter too, though it's not showing up, and it's not the best of photos for some reason.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my last card, I really do appreciate that you take the time to visit and leave comments.

That's me for now, take care of yourselves and see you soon,

Through the Mist to Home!

Hello Friends and Visitors I hope all is well with you and that you are looking forward to the weekend. We are hoping to go to Forres which is out past Elgin, if the weather is decent. There is a lovely garden centre there with a coffee shop, and some lovely walks round about.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my last card, you are very kind.

Here is today's card,

Made for the Lavinia May Challenge, Through the Mist. Here we have Dragon Ollar and a little friend flying home to Dragon Castle through the mist, with fairy Nia looking on. I've used Pan Pastels to make the mist.

Well, that's all for now, I hope you have a good weekend, take care and see you soon,

Beautiful Bella!

Hello Everyone, I hope your are well and having a grand weekend. We've had some lovely sunshine and was very warm.

Alistair has taken himself off to Glencoe, to try and escape all this coronation stuff, he's hoping to climb up the Buachaille Etive Mor, his favourite mountain. He'll be back tonight, so our peace and quiet will go.

We are both republicans, so I didn't watch any TV, so enjoyed a quiet few days with a couple of good books and some crafting. I've tried to contain my anger at the amount of money this is costing the tax payers, especially when there are so many people in dire need in this country.

Anyhoo, here is one of the little cards I've made this weekend,

This lovely fairy is called Bella, and the inspiration came from the very talented Jo Rice from the Lavinia Design Team. I've used various floral stamps and Elements Ink. Using the White Orbs stencil and Brilliance ink I made a bokeh effect.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my last card.

That's me for now, take care of yourselves,

Guinevere and Friends!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are well. Mid week already, how time flies.
I've been indoors today, catching up with washing, there are only two of us, so I don't know how we accumulate so much washing. Anyway, out and almost dry, had to bring it in as it's now raining, that's weather for you.

Thank you once again for your lovely comments on my last post, you are so very kind in your encouragement.

I've got something a little different today, it's a little plaque stamped with of course Lavinia stamps,

I had a little space just perfect for it in the bathroom.  The Mermaid's name is Guinevere, and she is sitting surrounded by her fish friends. I've stamped some text in the background, and inked with Elements ink.
The little wooden plaque is from Hobbycraft.

Well, that's me for now, so I'll love you and leave you till next time, take care of yourselves
