Neptune!

Hello Everyone,  I hope you're enjoying your weekend and not being washed away with the rain ☔ as we are.. I don't thinking it's stopped since midday yesterday.  Alistair has cabin fever as he's not been out today,  even Teallach doesn't want to go out.

Anyhoo, I've created another page in my journal,

Neptune from Pinkink Designs. Unfortunately,  he is too big to get all of him on my page,  but nevertheless there's a good bit of him here. I think he's a real handsome guy.  Coloured with  Zig Clean colour pens,  Gansai Tambi Opal watercolours. Gel pens. Elements ink for the background. Quite pleased with it.

Thank you for your lovely comments on my last card.

Have a good evening and see you soon,  take care,

Having a Snooze!

Hello there Everyone. I hope you  are well and your week is going along nicely.

Just a short post today to show my latest card,

I've used Holly Hide-away for this card. I love this little fox having a sleep and his little mouse friends beside him, they are from Card-io Stamps and various little bits of foliage to make the wreath from Lavinia Stamps. A Lavinia stencil in the background, gel and Posca pens too.

Loved making this and I think this little fox is going to become a favourite.

Off to the doctor now for my Vitamin  B/12 injection, there's always something.

Take care of yourselves and see you soon,

A Purple Christmas for the CCC!

Hello Again, I hope all's well with you and that your weekend is a good one.

It's the Christmas Card Club challenge time once again and this time it's a Purple Christmas that's wanted.

Here is what I've managed,

This card was inspired by Lainey J from the Card-io design team. I didn't have the same stamps, or Pan Pastels, I just used what I had. The stamps are though from Card-io. Inks are Elements Ink and I've used gel pen and Pebeo foil for the stars. Lots of glitter too.

So thank you for the inspiration Lainey.

Thank you all for the lovely comments on  my Gus card.

That's me for now, enjoy the remainder of your weekend, take care,

Gus!

Hello Everyone, I hope all is well with you and yours and that your week is going well.

Just a short post tonight to show this card made with one of Lavinia Stamps newest stamps,

Meet Gus the owl, he's so sweet. Coloured with Zig Clean Colour pens and gel pens. I've stamped him on to one of the Scene Scapes papers and stamped the owl words stamps down the side. Some foliage stamps and Posca pen.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my previous card, always appreciated.

That's me for now, take care and see you soon,

Be a Mermaid!

Hello to you All, I hope you are having a lovely Sunday, and are keeping well.

Did we have some rain yesterday, total downpours causing road to flood, thankfully today it's better with a bit of sunshine.

I've been making another picture in my journal again,

No Lavinia Stamps for this one, in fact they are all from a Creative Stamping Magazine a few years ago. Elements Ink on the stencil and Zig Clean pens to colour. Gel pens and Stickles for all the shimmer and sparkle. Hope you like it.

That's all for now Folks, off to make some mushroom soup, take care of yourselves, and see you soon,

Stargazing!

Hello Everyone, I hope your week is going well. I don't know where the last few days have gone,  I feel as if I've missed them somehow.

Anyway, been busy creating another page in my calendar, here it is

As this is February's page I thought I would used these lovely fairies sitting lovingly sitting watching the stars through the trees. Aren't they just so sweet. And of course it's Valentine month so we have some pink hearts in the corners.

All the stamps are from Lavinia, as are the Elements inks. Pebeo silver foil for the stars, gel pens and posca pens to make the little flowers dotted around.

The hardest thing about decorating these pages is trying to keep ink off the other parts of the page. white space just attracts ink.

I'm going to enter this into the Lavinia Creative challenge too, the title for it this month is "Through the Trees", well my little fairies re looking at the stars through the trees.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my last card, I very much appreciate them.

That's me for now, take care of yourselves and see you soon,

A Desert Duet!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are well and enjoying your weekend. We were supposed to have rain today, but it's been sunny and warm, so I got a bit of gardening done, planted some French Lavender in a border. I just love lavender, but I was working around the bees who also love this plant. Thankfully I didn't get stung.

A fortnight has passed and it's time for the Christmas Card Club Challenge and this time the theme is Humour, here is what I've come up with;

Hobby Art's fabulous singing camels, I'm sure you all know them.

I started off with Watercolour card from Lavinia Stamps, and coloured the background with both Zig Clean pens and Elements ink. All the stamps are from Hobby Art, I stamped and cut out the sentiment, than added WoS and Stickles. Shame the sparkle doesn't show up all that well. I have to say I love these guys and pleased with how it's turned out.

Thank you for your lovely comments on my last post, as ever most appreciate.

I'm off to walk over to see Damian and Moreen who are off for a wee break and I'm looking after the cats. Milo and Rowan are going with them and it's the first holiday the dogs have been on, in fact it's the first time any of them have been on holiday since Damian and Moreen have been together and that's are 20 years. They are real home birds, so I'm delighted they are going away.

So enjoy the rest of your day, take care and I'll see you soon,

Fun in the Surf!

Hello Friends and Visitors, hoping you are all well and having a good week so far.

It's been two lovely days, especially since rain was forecast. Spent yesterday in our back garden with a friend who volunteered her services to get the garden which was overwhelmingly overgrown back into shape. She is a keen gardener so we are very grateful. Neither Alistair or  I are gardeners, although I love the plants and flowers. I have over the years wasted so much money with plants that haven't grown.  I'm pretty achy after my stint, but I have to say I enjoyed it.

Anyhoo, here I am with another Journal page,

Not going with Lavinia stamps today, these lovely sea creatures are all stamps from a Creative Stamping magazine. Stamped and cut out and coloured with Zig Clean colour pens. I found an old stencil and used a textured paste and make this fun background. Elements inks in the background. Turned out rather  well I think.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my last journal page.

Enjoy your evening, take care till next time
