Exotic Garden!

Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a good weekend however you spent it.
We had snow, but thankfully it did lie, but so cold now.

I had to try and get to grips with Zoom tonight, geezzz what a carry on. The Choral Society wanted to try and have the committee meeting using Zoom as we can't meet in person, great idea if you know anything about it. I didn't know there was such a thing until the Scottish Parliament started meeting virtually. Anyhoo, after a couple of hours of grappling with it  I finally to work it out. We were only having a try out to see if everyone could manage to download and get on to it. So it looks as if we will manage the meeting next week. We have a lot of decisions to make, as I don't thing we will be going back to rehearsals this calendar year.  So, another skill learned, but stressed to the hilt whilst learning it.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last card.
Card for today;

This beautiful stamp is from Altenew and coloured with Altenew Artist Water colours, then cut out with the coordinating die. I've added a little shimmer pen to the blooms and added paint splatters to to background. The sentiment is from another Altenew set. Tiny gems to finish off .

That's me for now,  I'm much later than intended with my post due to the Zooming fiasco lol, take care everyone, stay safe,

I'd like to enter my card into;

This is stunning, what a pretty make. I love those colours. My Dad had a Zoom meet with his Maggies Cancer Group the other week. Took ages to get it sorted, then he couldn't hear them, turned out he forgot to put his hearing aids in!!! LOL Hazelxx

A beautiful get well card Kate, gorgeous stamp and colouring.
Hope you get on with the Zoom better next week, I'm sure it will be alright. For my Slimming World group we are having to virtually meet on Zoom too and it was a steep learning curve also but well worth the stress :)

Pleased you sorted Zoom Kate, we have been using it once a week for all the close family (children and grandchildren) to get together for a quiz, it's nice to see all their faces in one place.

A really beautiful card today (could be another SS entry), your colouring is lovely and like the silhouette style sentiment.

I don't know how I missed this gorgeous card Kate. You've coloured it beautifully and I love your paint splattered background. We've had temps down to zero but none of the white stuff this far south fortunately. Hugs. Christine xx

Gorgeous flowers Kate and so beautifully coloured and finished perfectly with the pretty spattering in the background. We have downloaded Zoom too as hubby has been having a choir rehearsal on line and also some chats with friends from his choir. I can't say that the singing works well as it was so chaotic with them all trying to sing together that they now get switched off and only hear the piano and just sing along themselves without hearing anybody else which isn't very satisfactory, but at least they get to see one another and feel connected. x
