A Sleigh Full of Cuteness!

Hello Everyone, are you all well and staying safe?  I hope so and that you are coping with whatever lockdown you have.
Here in Scotland if all being well, on Thursday the First Minister will announce phase 1 of the start of relaxing some of the lockdown measures. It isn't going to make any difference to Alistair and I as we don't play golf, tennis or even croquet as one MSP was desperate to know if that was included. It was the first time in ages that a laugh was raised in the Scottish Parliament.
I've seen Damian on a few occasions in my garden when he's brought some flowers, cleaning stuff, so that won't change, and Alistair still can't get up a mountain as they are too far away and we still have to only travel locally, not 260 miles as Mr. Cummings did and then another 30 miles for an eye test. Honestly, he must think the English people are as stupid as he is  expecting his lies to be believed.
Anyhoo, I'm sure for many Scots it will be welcomed as parents can see children and grandchildren, and get out to do a bit more exercise.

We at the Choral Society have decided to cancel all our concerts for the remainder of this year, including the Carolthon,  which we felt was the right decision as none of us know how this is virus is going to pan out, there could be a second spike, then there are the usual winter illnesses, and the majority of our members are in the vulnerable category, it's a pity, but it is what it is.

So on to my card;
Well, just look at this  sleigh full of cuteness!!, It's a CD image that I've had hanging around for a while, all I've added is some blue mats and some paper , a few blue pearls and dotted on some white gel pen for snow.
I'd like to enter  this card into;

I would like to also enter my card into;

Thank you all so much for the lovely comments on my last cards, as always I appreciate your visits and time.

That's me for today, time to get out for a wee walk, take care everyone and keep yourselves safe,

Hi Kate,
Happy Rudolf Days.
Oh I love this gorgeous card and your image is just one of the cutest I have seen.
Great colours and design.
Such a pity about Alistair not being able to carry on his mountain walking.
We keep to the rules and then people that should know better float them honestly.
No wonder everyone is up in arms.
Thank you for joining the Rudolf Challenge.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L. DT

Kate, it is nice for the grandparents to see the grandchildren again. But I am sorry to see that all the concerts of your chore are cancelled until the end of the year. Let's hope that the virus in the whole world will end up soon.
As for your card, it is gorgeous! I love the elegant design and the little white dots for snow. Kisses, my friend.

An adorable image and an dorable card, Kate!
Thanks for taking part in the May Rudolph Days Challenge.

I had a chukle at the rest of your post. We read about your gov. fella driving so far, even across the pond it was news!

We are still sticking to home as well. The kids will very occasionally come now for a 20 minute visit, We have set aside a table and chairs on our upper patio for them to sit. We avoid those chairs etc and never touch them. We sit about 15-20 feet away on the lower patio where we have a larger table and chairs.
That is enough for me of the new rule relaxing. We do not want to catch it and worry about it happening. Thank goodness I have my hobbies and DH loves to watch sports on TV. He has found a new love of the documentary channel on the telly. He has been watching a ton of shows like the Sunderland team story etc.

We love to work in the garden even though it is teensy. Al has added a brick strip all around the garden cement patio. It has increased the length and width by just under three feet each. That is a huge difference for us as it is a small patio within a very small garden.

I know you will miss your choral society, but there are some alarming statistics in the USA regarding COVID spread from a singing practice. Something abut the droplets increase due to the strength of the voice projecting the notes.

Take care, Kate.

Lovely cute card. A blogging friend in USA has a black lab that has just had a litter. 6 black and one golden boy. Pictures of them on her blog are sooooo cute. Speechless here over the Cummings goings on. I was deprived from spending Time with Brian in his last hours because off the lockdown which we abided by. Then he had to be cremated without anyone present because of the rules of us travelling which we again abided by. Life is not fair. I haven’t seen one set of grandchildren since
Last November and my other grandson since February but we are surviving. A shame about your music society . All our U3A groups are on hold as all members are in the vulnerable category.
Hugs Mrs A.,

Such a pretty card with the dogs in the sleigh, so cute Kate, and love the background paper goes beautifully. Sorry to hear the Choral Society have decided to cancel for the rest of the year, but it is difficult to know when such things will be viable. We haven't definitely cancelled that far ahead, but have finished until September, and I think that it will possibly be at least into the new year before we can start again. I am missing singing but I don't think I am going to try these on line choirs. I prefer to do it properly not on a computer. This virus situation has knocked us all for six. We have been doing our shopping locally and going out for walks where we know there won't be lots of people. When our son was growing up I was lucky that if hubby and I should be ill we had family who lived nearby, but these days it is less likely to be the case as people do move about for work more nowadays, and where one's children are concerned we do what we have to to keep them safe and things are never black and white. Anyway, these are difficult times and I know we should all take care. Glad you and Alistair are doing well Kate. I do appreciate all your lovely visits to me too. Take care. x
