We are still fine, thankfully, but we are seeing more cards on the road now, and that's a bit worrying. I don't know if people are going back to work, or just saying stuff it and going out or what. It must be hard on lots of people, I don't know how people in cities, living in high rise flats, or those who just really need to be shielded are managing, and just because I'm finding staying home no problem.....well I am somewhat antisocial, it's not the case for many folks. So my heart goes out to them.
Our First Minister has stated that it's not time to lift the lockdown as the gains are still fragile a and if we relax the rules we could end up with a second wave of the virus and that would be worse than this one. So I hope people can keep going, because, it is definitely working.
We were out clapping last night as you do now on Thursday nights, and new Baby Alessandro was out with his mum, he wasn't actually clapping, he was sound asleep in his mum's arms, but it was lovely to see him and we did an extra applause for him and his mum. Of course, all the neighbours were desperate to get over to see him, but everybody did stay the distance, and just oood and aaad from afar. The little one is doing well, and I an so impressed with his mum and dad, as they are on their own, like many new parents are just now as families can't visit, and let's face new mum's just want their mums at a time like that, but they are just getting on with it.

this is really a very gorgeous card and I love that super pretty stamped flower it's gorgeous.
Fantastic background also.
I remember the first night of clapping it was just me and a neighbour accross the waynow it's quite a few of us all standing in our doorways.
I too hope [eople don't relax too much as it means even longer for me in isolation.
I used to have help with my housework that was too much for me and my Daughter and Son used to do my garden as bending is a problem with my back.
Also the window cleaner didn't come for months before this so my windows are very dirty.
I have invested in a long handle window cleaning item to clean them.
All in all all this extra work means less time blogging and crafting as I am exhausted after it all.

Like you I really feel for those living inner city, in flats and apartment and no outside space, especially those with children, it must be a nightmare.
It's strange as I don't usually go far, just to the village if I need the PO or Cambridge or Huntingdon once a week or so to M&S (there's nothing quite like their fresh fruit and veg), like you say probably rather antisocial. But now just into our ninth week (6th March was the last outing to be exact - Waitrose!!) I am missing those simple trips. But going to have to grin and bear it as there's a way to go yet me thinks.
Anyhows, you card and what a beautifully fresh and vibrant bloom it is against the inky backdrop.

This is such a pretty card Kate, with a lovely cheery message. I would much rather stay in lock down till we know it is really safe. I fact John and have said we will continue as we are doing even restrictions are relaxed. I'd much rather be safe than sorry. John has been shielding since the start. It's not really a hardship for him because he did six months of it when he was having the chemo so he's used to it. It helps that we have a lot of land and no neighbours so he can still be outdoors all the time which is what he likes best. It would be terrible for him to be shut inside. As from today we can go out for a walk together at certain times, relaxing things very slowly. Talking about opening bars with outside terraces next week, 11th but I think that is a bit soon but I suppose the businesses need it, xxx

glad to hear that you are both staying safe,. We are still doing well over here. They are starting to relax things a teensy bit here. Golf courses are now open to the public.
Al has been golfing all along (by himself and in his own cart) as members had been allowed to play all along. He usually golfs with the same group of fellows but switched to going out alone to be safer. He does not have to enter the clubhouse as they know everyone with passes by sight.
So he is in and out without having to even to talk to anyone and his cart is not touched by anyone else (that he knows of). Although he is thinking of quitting as since they reopened to the public this week, he says there are too many people around now. He could golf 18 holes last week and only see one other person....
I just stay home. Do not want to take any risks at all. Crafting and card making keep me busy as well as constantly wiping everything down!

It’s still very quiet here on the roads and thank goodness most folk are heading the stay at home order...we are just catching up on so many jobs...all the radiators and window ledges given a fresh coat of paint ....even a coat of emulsion in our living room...
Next week I am starting to wash the curtains one room at a time...a real spring clean this year.....

Wonderful card, I love the image and design
We were naughty yesterday the car has not been driven since 25th March so hubby decided to give it a run to check the brakes and battery were OK, we never stopped nor stopped to talk to anyone, just a few miles around the village, It was so nice to go out and about, as you say we saw more cars than I thought there would be. We have done everything that has been asked stayed in and only having a walk on nice days, I do get annoyed when I read about the youth going out in gangs or people going to beauty spots they should be glad they dont live in Spain, they would not have been allowed even a walk. I hope the lock down does not end too quick and we get a second wave this has been bad enough, although here in the west country we have the least of anywhere in England

Lovely card. Reminds me of playing the do you like butter test when you shone a buttercup under your chin as kids. Long time ago now!!
The Doc goes for a bike ride most days just round the country roads round about our village and he says there is a lot more traffic about. Even when we go out for a walk there are more people out and about. We stopped and talked to our friend over her garden hedge the other day and she said her road never gets any traffic much before the shut down but now there are cars passing often. I think people are beginning to think using the country roads to get somewhere they will not get stopped. I am certainly not venturing out even when they do start lifting the restrictions as I think there will be a second wave which I certainly don’t want to be in. Managing to get shopping on line. The Doc needed more batteries and light bulbs and was all set to go to the local diy villiage shop till
I stopped him. I managed to get everything he needed on line. The shop is letting two people in at a time but I really do not want to take any chances as we are both vunerable. Stay safe and well. Hugs Mrs A.

So pretty. Love the blue with the gold specks. Flowers and sentiment look great with the background you created. I find watercoloring more difficult than any other coloring method. I don't know why, I did Told painting for years and have colored with every other medium, but I love the look.
