Japanese Art!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are all well, and keeping yourselves safe in this amazing heatwave. We were more cloudy than sunny today, but still a good day for the washing to get dry, oh I do lead life on the edge, lol.

Popping in this evening with a finished coloured page from a new book I found in the Works,

This lovely painting is named Great Tit on Paulownia Branch, artist is,

 OharaKo Koson. 1925-36.

I've coloured it up with Faber Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils, beautiful pencils to use. Added little bits of gel pen and Stickles for a bit of sparkle. Here is the book it's from.

There are some beautiful paintings in the book and it was a snip at £4. The Works have some little gems sometimes.

Thank you for the lovely comments on my last card.

Just a short post tonight, so I'll say cheerio for now and see you soon,

You have so many colouring books and you always do some wonderful colouring in them Kate, but this one really caught my eye with the pretty trailing autumn coloured leaves and that pretty bird, and I love the added complemetary colouring on the berries too. x
