Thinking of You!

Hello Everyone, I hope you've all had the lovely weather as we've had here in Inverness, absolutely gorgeous sunshine and really quite warm. Alistair and I had a lovely walk through Culloden  Battlefield this morning and it was so quiet, only the odd dog walker. The view from the battlefield was stunningly beautiful across to the Black Isle and Ben Wyviss which still has some snow fields. A lovely way to take one's exercise.

Thank you for the lovely comments on my last card, I do so appreciate them.
I've been spending my time making cards for friends whom I don't see often, and I thought a wee card would help to cheer them up, here is one of them;
I've used Oxides to make a rainbow coloured panel and them stamped and embossed SU Dandelion Wishes, Wow Embossing Powder in Silver. I added some silver mirror card at the side of the panel. The sentiment is from Honey Bee Up Up and Away stamp set and cut with the coordinating die, embossed in Silver. A few gems and silver thread, although it's not showing up in the photo.

I would also like to enter my card into;

Here's a couple of photos  I took on our walk of the lovely Highland cattle happily munching away at their hay ,

The second photo shows Ben Wyviss in the background.

I hope your weekend has been as good as it can be in the circumstances we find ourselves in at the moment, and that you continue to cope with the lockdown. Keep smiling and stay safe,

Oh love the rainbow colored background and silver embossing. The Highland cattle are so cute. In the states most cattle don't have horns or long hair. Only a few ranches raise specialty cattle that look somewhat like the Highland variety.

You walk sounds lovely.

It's a few years since we were in that neck of the woods Kate. I remember going up Wyviss and the weather was dreadful. It was so windy it was almost blowing me off the mountain. A h the joys of mountains. Take care and stay safe. Hugs Christine xx

Oops! Forgot the reason for the visit ... lol! Super card Kate and gorgeous colours! I have been doing the same as you making cards for friends. I have just made nine for our vulnerable WI ladies, which I do every three weeks, and also my weekly card for my sister. Amazing what a difference receiving a card makes. C x

Yes lovely sunshine here as well Kate, it does help lift the spirits doesn't it. Lovely photos, I was thinking just yesterday that I've misses seeing the new born lambs this year, we have a couple of local farms who rear them. The same with the bright colours of fields of rape, but I did succeed on that one yesterday, I went out of the gate with my camera to photo some of the trees and right at the end of the Drove there is some on flower (sharing this week).

Your lovely burst of colour puts me very much in mind on the Northern Lights and so bright and cheerful, so pleased you have shared and joined us at Stamping Sensations, thank you.

A beautiful card Kate and love the silver embossed dandelions with the bright and pretty rainbow of colours which I'm sure will cheer up one of your friends, such a lovely thought. I love the photos of your walk and glad that the weather has been warm and bright which does help to lift the spirits and especially with the gorgeous scenery you have around you. I love the snow on Ben Wyviss in the distance. x

We've had some lovely sunny days here in Yorkshire, so at least that helps when you can get outside and enjoy the fresh air. What a lovely idea Kate to make cards for your friends. I'm sure that they'll really appreciate them. This card is beautiful. I have to say that I'm loving all the rainbow backgrounds and this is no exception. The silver embossing looks terrific too. Thank you for joining us in our 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' challenge at Stamping Sensations and good luck. Sandra x
