Sailing by!

Good Evening Everyone, I hope your day's been a good one and that you are sill managing to cope in these strange times.
We've had quite good weather today, so Alistair was out doing a bit of gardening and I went for a walk early morning. I have to say that I'm loving walking whilst it's so quiet, the bird song is so much more pronounced, it's just lovely.  It seems that  the roads have to remain for a while to come.

Thank you for the lovely comments on my last card, I do appreciate them and the continued visits.
Here's today's card;
When my DiL asked me to make a birthday card for her brother, I made two so that she could choose, this is the one that she didn't choose.  The image is from Crafty Individuals and I've stamped it in blue ink. Matted on to navy card then blue glitter card and the paper is from a pad bought from the Works which is all sea colours and images. Sentiment from Clearly Besotted.
It's quite handy to have this one in my box for a male.

A short post tonight, so I'll love you and leave you and hope you will all take care of yourselves and see you soon,

Oh, and did you know you were the winner on my blog? Congratulations, my friend!

Fabulous male car5d Kate. I'm enjoying my walking too. I occasionally see a dog walker during my five miles. I shall certainly come out of this lock down fitter than I went in! Hugs Christine xx

Yes its lovely to hear the bird song now its so quite, after four weeks of dry and beautiful weather we have rain today and I am sure the garden is loving it, not that I want the weeds to grow

I love this I love anything with boats on, great card, and I have been going in my garden every single day, which is hard for me as I have not left the house for 16 years, and as it is so quiet I have noticed the bird singing and watched the trees go from twigs to full bushes these last 3 weeks, I also have a Robin that comes on my hand for meal worm which I love (not the meal worms ewwww) but things I wouldn't have noticed had I not gone n my garden, hugs Pops x

That's a lovely image and a great male card too.
I'm quite enjoying the restrictions for the quiet roads, beautiful bird song and the extra encounters with nature that have been possible over the last few weeks. With less traffic and people around I have seen lots of wonderful creatures while out on my daily walks that usually stay hidden away. It seems a shame to think that we have to return to our old, hectic lifestyles at some point.

This is such a great card. I really like that stamp and the papers and things you chose to go with it are just perfect. Hope you are doing something this weekend that makes it feel like the weekend!

Hi Kate

Very strange you should talk about the birdsong .. .. hubby and I went out for our evening walk tonight and we were commenting on how quiet everywhere was and how nice it was to be able to hear the different birds singing. Something we had never even noticed before because we live on a main road. Our usual sounds are huge lorries and cars whizzing by!

I have that paper pad too. There are some lovely paper in it aren't there?

A great male card. Love it!

You take care too Kate.

Love Jules xx
