Your Dreams!

 Hello Everyone,  I hope you've had a good day and that you're keeping well.

We really enjoyed the Pipe Band competition on Saturday, but boy was it hot, too hot really for me, my head is still tender where it got burnt.

It was good to see so many band there, although there wasn't the 200 as was expected, however there was a rail strike on. Lots of youngsters playing, I think that's wonderful, in some cases their instruments were bigger than they were. I don't know who won, we had to leave before the end, need to buy the local paper to find out.

My card is another fairy one;

Mixing my stamps once again. The fairy is from Chocolate Baroque, the dragon and sentiment stamps are from Lavinia, Card-io branches and little flowers, Oxides, Pan Pastels, Posca Pens and Gold Gel pen.

Just a view of the envelope which are all Lavinia stamps.

I am just loving doing there fairy cards, and finding that the different brands really go well together.

Just a short post tonight, enjoy your evening, and keep safe, cheerio for now,

A gorgeous card, I love fairies and fantasy themed cards. Your lovely stamping around the edges creates a pretty frame for the focal image too.

I just love that fairy image and oh my gosh that dragon is fantastic. I have so many guys in the family that would love that on a card. Super cute card you created.

Another super fantasy card Kate. Your fairy is beautiful. Glad you enjoyed your pipe bands competition despite the hot weather. I cannot cope with hot weather, it makes me ill, sadly, and I burn so easily! Take care. Christine xx

Beautiful fairy card, Kate! Love the background coloring!

I sent you an email to respond to your last comments, but it came back twice as undeliverable to the address I've always used; the one on your profile. Can you email me so I have your new address? Here's my note:

Hi Kate,

Thank you for your lovely comment! I just had to write back and let you know that I, too, always say "card shark" and I've never even heard of the card sharp. I was curious so I looked it up and found this: card shark vs. card sharp. I thought you might find it interesting. So we can just go on calling card shark if we like! (The link didn't work when I copied and pasted. I'll email it to you when I have your address.)

Extra prayers are going out for the Ukranian husbands you know. It boggles my mind that we are having to deal with so many power-hungry Hitler-wanna-bes around the world. I despair a lot, but feel blessed to have this hobby which distracts me and makes me feel like I'm making a difference in people's lives with my little cards.

Have fun with the blue roses! Let me know if you do so I don't miss the post!

Love and hugs,
Darnell
