Trees, either Inside or Outside for the CCC!

 Hello there, I hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying your weekend, whatever you have planned.

We had a lovely walk around Ardisier this morning, it's a little village along the Moray coast, and the sun was out, but very breezy, and not too warm. Mind you, the weather wasn't deterring swimmers, a whole bunch of them....I don't know what the collective noun would be, were all kitted out in their wet suits ready to take the plunge. Now I would have said the see was too choppy, but when I mentioned that I was told that it was nothing to them. A real bunch of hardy folk, I bet it was exhilarating though.

Anyway, I'm here with this fortnight's Christmas Card Club creations, and this time it's my turn to choose the theme, and it's cards with trees on them, either inside trees or outside.

Here's what I've come up with;

All of the images I've used are by Chocolate Baroque, and I've embossed them in Silver WOW EP. I used some lovely teal coloured embossed paper that Mr's A sent me when I won a wee competition around Christmas time, and also the Novo Drops on one of the cards. Sentiments are from various sets. As usual I've put clear gems to finish. Sadly the photos aren't brilliant, sorry about that.

Do make sure you have a look at the other cards the girls make, they are a;ways fabulous.

That's me for now, thank you for all the lovely comments on my last card.

I'm going to schedule this post for tomorrow Sunday for when the CCC post goes live. Take care everyone ,

Beautiful selection of cards, I really like the first one and the last one.

You made me feel cold about swimming in the water, I know you are colder up there than I am but swimming at this time of year is really a no no for me.
Hope you are staying safe and well

Hi Kate, thanks for such a great theme ... plenty of choice there. All your cards are lovely, the images are perfect and the embossed paper makes a very good mat for them. I'm so impressed with the swimmers who get out there in near freezing conditions ... I might have done it years ago but not now! Hope you are both well. Hugs, Elizabeth xx

These are great cards and really showcases the trees. I love the glitter in the first one but all 3 are so great. I still could not go swimming and just wonder how that cold feels like in the face.

3 stunning cards, Kate! All very beautiful! My niece does a lot of outdoor swimming, often in a normal costume. She has swum the length of Windermere several times and took part in a channel relay crossing with 2 other people. A paddle is enough for me, lol

I love your three cards with the silver embossing and three very different looks to the trees but all equally pretty using the CB stamps Kate. Glad you had a lovely walk..the sea would certainly not be calling to me in that way at the moment..lol, but I do love to be by the sea as it is beautiful in all weathers. x

All three card scenes are just lovely. And the blue embossed paper behind each one really brings out the silver and white image designs. Really pretty cards, Kate.

So sorry I am only just getting round to commenting especially as you used some of your winnings on your cards. Sometimes life just gets in the way of having fun though. What a lovelt idea to do the cards in silver embossing podwer. I bet they really do sparkle IRL. Hugs Mrs A.
