Christmas Flowers and Foliage for the CCC!

 Hello to You All, hoping you are well and having a good weekend.

Another two weeks have flown past and it's time for the Christmas Card Club ladies to show their latest cards and this time it's Zoe who has chosen the theme of Christmas Flowers and Foliage, with Anything Goes if you can't manage the theme. Here is what I managed this time;

This is a Chocolate Baroque stamp I've had for a while, and I thought it covered both Flower and Foliage. I've coloured with Canran d'Ache Pablo pencils ( I treated myself to a set as I had been after them for some time, and they are wonderful to use),  gold gel pen and Stickles. Gold mirror card and  some poinsettia paper that's been in my box for ages, cant' remember the brand. The sentiment is from a Creative Stamping magazine, and to finish off I've added gems.

Thank you Zoe, I enjoyed the challenge, and it's always good to use stash that's been in the cupboard a while.

Just back from a wee walk, but had to shorten its as I seemed to put my knee out and Alistair has done something to his hip, so both of us limping along wasn't good,

Alistair had a hip replacement about ten years ago, but he is starting to feel that something is not quite right with it, he may need it resurfaced, but I don't expect that will happen any time soon, with the current situation.  I was hearing on our local news that another ward in our local hospital is closed with Covid patients, So no one want's to be in hospital at this time in the great scheme of things if they can help it.

Righty oh, that's me for now, enjoy your day, keep safe and I'll see you all soon,

Beautiful card, I love the poinsettia image.

I hope they can do something for his hip, I know what you mean about not wanting to go near a hosptial. They say the rate is coming down, but in our local two areas the rate has gone up, no idea why. I don’t think we will be rid of this virus for some time to come

Hope your weather has improved and this wind goes away, sick of the wind over the last week down here.

What a beautiful card Kate. I too have that stamp, but forgot all about it. so beautifully coloured too. Sorry to hear about your knees and Alistair's hip. I'm struggling just to see the keypad now, hoping it doesn't get worse. enjoy a nice quiet evening. Hugs Rita xxx

A lovely image on your card Kate. Oh dear, poor you and poor Alastair, a pair of old crocks! I sympathise though because when John and I were out on a walk a few days I twisted my knee getting down from the stile. My mum had both knees replaced and had to have them re-done after 10 years or so. Hope he can cope because as you say nobody wants to be in hospital at this time. Take care both. Hugs Christine xx

I love CB stamps and this is beautiful with your fab colouring Kate, a glorious card. The touch of gold makes it so rich. Sorry to hear that Alistair is starting to have problems with his hip and you with your knee what a pair hahaha. Awful to hear more cases of Covid with you. Luckily we seem to be coming out of it. Although with warnings not to go to quickly.
Keep safe

I love your card with the poinsettias. You coloured them so well and it is truly Christmassy. I’m sorry to hear about your knee and Alastair’s hip. My hubby is having more pain in his shoulder that got a full replacement but the dr said it still looked quite good. My hubby has been bad in what he lifts( recently, small boulders that one weighed about 700 lbs with the help of a fridge cart that got bent). Both my parents had atheoarthritis in their hips and back and I feel it so I know it will happen to me.please keep safe and do only what you know you can do....easier said than done, I know.
