On Your Birthday!

 Hello there, what a dreich day here in Inverness, such a change after the last few days, it's much colder too. Anyway, how are you all doing, still coping with with your lockdown? I hope you are. We are still doing fine, Alistair is so looking forward to getting up a mountain, I'm looking forward to him getting up a mountain too lol 😀 but that could still be a while yet.

I've a birthday card to show today;

This little scene uses stamps from a Creative Stamping magazine and coloured with watercolour. I've added a little sparkle with Stickles to the water and the weeping willow. Matted on to black and teal coloured card and the background paper is from a pad bought from The Works. A few pearls to finish.

It's just a short post today, but before I go, just want to thank everyone who commented on my lat card , you are always very kind, and I love to read them.

Stay safe, and see you soon,

Hi Kate,
what a fabulous card and that stamped scene is lovely and tranquil looking.
Your colouring is brilliant and I love the colours chosen.
Can't wait to get out of this lockdown now.
It's a drab and cold day hee in the south too.
It's the younger people I feel for as they are not used to being stuck in like us older peeps.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

WOW! Kate, a beautifully coloured scene, love that image. Beautiful layers too. Overcast and chilly here, after the much awaited sun of the past days, it's yuck!
Keep safe

This is such a sweet scene Kate and love the duck and pretty waterlily and leaves floating on the surface in the foreground, and love your colour choices too, and the background paper and teal and black mats go beautifully. These magazine stamps get better and better, and wish I had this one myself. x

Hi, Kate! We don't even have mountains in Florida, so Alistair would be very disappointed. Even our "hills" are not really hills by normal standards LOL I hope he will soon be able to enjoy himself again. Your scene is so pretty, especially with all those lovely colors! hugs, de

A really great card with such a lovely scene .. .. love that little duck!

Our weather took a turn for the worse during the week after a beautiful weekend .. .. and yesterday my Mum told me we were going to be getting snow for Easter! Keeping my fingers crossed she might have that one wrong! LOL!!
