Birthday Wishes!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are well and have had a good day, we had sunshine and really quite warm, so Alistair too the chance of the good weather to paint his shed, got it all done too, another job to tick of his to do list. I've not been so industrious, I just did some colouring, in between pottering about lol.

Thank you all for the lovely comments on my last card, I do appreciated the time you take to visit and leave a word or two.

My card today was a commissioned card for someone who likes rusty colours and anything to do with the sea,

]

This is a Stamp by Chocolate Baroque and coloured with Distressed Inks and Prismacolour pencils. The paper is from Crafty Individuals. Stickles, shells and yellow sticky on shapes. Sentiment is one from a Creative Stamping magazine. Although this was for a lady's 60th I decided onto to put the number on it as not always people like to be reminded of their age.

Alistair got his 2nd jab yesterday with no bother at all, I've got another month to wait, unless there is a hiccup with getting the vaccine as seems to be happening at the moment, so it may be longer, just have to wait and see.

So, that's me for now, enjoy your evening and keep safe,

Fabulous sunny card, it make me wish Summer! Here it looks like Spring, but today the weather is cold again and there are big clouds, so it seems that we will have winter days again in the weekend.

This is stunning Kate, gorgeous colours. Victoria came to see us today, so we sat out in the garden as it was warm, we haven't seen her since before Christmas, she brought us some cakes for Mother's Day, she couldn't come because she was working on Sunday, she is looking well. Matthew is doing well at Uni, we will be seeing him in April so looking forward, to seeing him. Marlene

This is a beautiful sunny card. We don't get our second jabs till the end of April but I am not in a rush as do not look forward to a repeat reaction. I have heard some say it is not as bad and others who say the reaction is worse on the second one. So many opinions wafting around. Who to believe!

A beautiful card Kate, such a lovely scene and great colours.
I don't think there is any problem regarding second doses, they have kept sufficient stock for those.

You've chosen a beautiful stamp for the rusty colours Kate, a gorgeous card. Love the paper surround and the tiny shells. I heard today I go on Tuesday for my second jab, whew! just before the shortage? I hope you get yours OK.

This commissioned card is fantastic Kate and love the bright red and yellow tones and this CB stamp is just great with the lighthouse and and sailing boats, and that big sun just beginning to set, with some wonderful glitter on it too, and the CI paper with the shells makes a pretty background. x

Hi Kate

Well you certainly met the brief perfectly and produced a brilliant card. I am sure it will be very well received.

Beautiful card, love the bright sunny colors, bet the person who requested it was pleased too.

I also got my 1st shot and am scheduled for the second next week. So grateful to get them. My husband is a veteran of the Viet Nam war, and the local VA Hospital called him to see if he wanted to get the shots very early on, so once I get my second one we will be done. Still wearing our masks when we need to grocery shop. Looking so forward to eating out, seeing a movie and visiting with friends in the near future I hope!

Hugs
Sue
