Dudley in a Fankle!

 Hello Everyone, I hope you are all well and that life is going okay for you.

Isn't life interesting in the Global sense of things, sadly the virus is on the rise again everywhere, Brexit is gaining pace, but how no one is telling the citizens how, the EU are taking the UK to court over the disregard of the Internal Market Bill, people who should know better flouting the covid rule, and I'm talking here about politician, and in one case a father of one of them, worst was the SNP minister who really topped them all, even by that debacle of Mr. Cummings earlier in the year, and took a train to London from Scotland, gave her speech in Parliament and then returned home, knowing that she had the virus, honestly, you couldn't make it up. Now it seems the American President has covid. And, this is all on top of the awful fires happening in America just now. It seems to me that life is harsh enough from natural disasters, without the stupidity of the Humans, but there you go, that's just my take on things at the moment......but I have to wonder what's coming next!

A while since I've posted anything, about a week I think. I'm not really making cards just now, more taken up with the colouring book thing, but I have a couple of cards I made away back at the beginning of the lockdown for friends, which were hugely appropriate at the time;

This cute guy is Dudley and he's from Whimsey Stamps, and he's a digital one. They are both coloured with Copic markers, and the first card has a Gina K stencil in the background, and I can't remember which brand the second card has.

It's to be hoped that we never get to the stage of shelves empty of toilet paper again, but who knows what shortages there will be after this year, which will not just be toilet paper.

It's a right old dreich day here after such a lovely day yesterday, been raining all night and still is, and the house feels like it's a cave, I'm still hoping to get out for a walk.

Thank you for the lovely comments on my last CCC post, I've never gotten so many comments before, I very much appreciate the,.

Enjoy your weekend, whatever you've planned, and keep yourselves safe,

Two great cards, love the images,

I could not agree with you more, who ever writes a book on 2020 in years to come wont know where to start, I agree of course the virus has come back when you have minsters doing whatever when ever they lie and flouting the rules. As for Trump he said the virus was nothing but just a cold, I wonder if he is thinking that now, they have the highest rate in the world and it could not have happen to a more stupid man. I have a friend in America who is Trump lover and she believes everything that silly man says, even to the point of saying we over here dont get the proper news about how wonderful he is, and how much he has done for the world!!!!! in her dreams the figures are exaggerated and made to look worse.

I hope you have aa good week and hopefully this rain will disappear, we are rather soggy down here in the west country.

Love these to cards Kate. They are fabulous. Dudley is so adorable. Wonderful backgrounds. As you brought it up :) The world has gone mad. It seemed quite biblical yesterday. I tell you what really annoyed me yesterday. The news was full of debates on who was telling the truth about Mr. Trumps. Debated by god knows who. Randoms! Who cares what they think. We just want to hear the facts. In the mean time. Priti Patel made a speach about the broken asylum system, a police man got stabbed in London and Italy has had terrible flooding but did we hear much about any of that....nooooo. Fed up of media hype. Anyway [she says calmly :)] have a lovely week. Take care, hugs to you both, Flo xx Ps. nice chatting with you!

That lady mp should be made to resign and as for Mr Trump what ever was he thinking going on a ride around whilst supposedly in Hosiptal. He is 74yrs old and in a high risk category without all the stupid flouting of the rules which he obivioudly thinks he is above. Even our Prince Chatles has had it., Rant overnight, wiell not quite because Loo rolls have gone into short supply again .The Doc is so pleased he bought all those underpants at the beginning of lock down!! Cards are super and still very funny. Hugs Mrs A.

This is such a funny image, but the reason for it is anything but funny. People are so selfish and stupid........this virus could have been managed so much better than simply being ignored. And those of us that didn't ignore it and did the right things are paying the price also....Our only hope is that we get a new President on Nov 3rd.

Nice background on the cards too.

Hugs
Sue

These two cards are ever so cute and sure they were treasured when received! People here in the states are rather stupid when it comes to the covid and seem not to care about the older people at all (that would be me..hah!), but we are very careful and only going out when we have to, to get pet food and our groceries is about it, my only hope is that is will go away as fast as it came...take care!!
