Nightfall Florals!

 Hello Everyone, I hope  you are well and that all is good with you today.

Managed a good walk this morning before the rain set in, but I am whacked. Lots of little inclines to walk up, Alistair assured me that the walk was not hilly, why oh why after all these years do I believe him?? Of course what is mountainous to me is a wee blip on the land to him. Anyhoo, it was lovely and took us well up to have a fabulous view over the Moray Firth to The Black Isle and part of Inverness.

Thank you for all the lovely comments on my last post, and for continuing to visit me, I do appreciate your time.

It's a completed page this time;

 All coloured with Black Widow Pencils, and I've used Stickles for a bit of sparkle and the splatters are perfect Pearls, and the pages is from;

This is my third page from this lovely book, and the pages have all been coloured with pencils so far, I'm thinking though that I might try other mediums as the paper is thick enough to take some water, it would make colouring faster.

That's me for now, just a quick post with no ranting lol, so keep yourselves safe and I'll see you soon,

Oh that made me smile Kate. John was exactly the same. I'm huffing and puffing while he's strolling along. Men! Anyway, another gorgeous colouring page. The colours are great and your colouring is fabulous. I love the front cover of the book in those fantastic colours. Hugs Christine xx

Very cool and your colouring is excellent with all the nice shading. I took out my Twinkling H2O's and coloured in some stamping I did last night.

Those hills would be mountains to me Kate, here in the Fens you can see for miles and not even slightest of inclines on the horizon.

Your pages on the black backgrounds are just stunning.

Oh Kate - how absolutely gorgeous! I love your use of color and contrast at the same time - this looks like you are really doing some amazing coloring! And to think you can frame some of the artwork, too! I'm sorry I'm slow to get here - it's been a week and a half of grandbaby and my house has been FULL! Big hugs! x0

Gorgeous colouring Kate and love the pretty flowers and butterflies on the dark background with the bits of PP spattering. I have just bought myself some Inktense Pencils which look good used with a little water. I have tried them on an older colouring book I have but they do buckle it a bit, and I have a Millie Marota book which is double sided so if you either press too hard, or use anything other than pencils, it ruins one side so you have to decided which you would rather not colour, which I find hard to do..lol. Glad you had a lovely walk...I can imagine the scenery where you live is just magnificent. x
