Santa for the CCC!

 Hello Everyone, I hope you are all well and that life is treating you good.

It's the weekend again and also the week that the Christmas Card Club ladies show their latest cards. This time it's me who does the choosing of the theme and I've chosen Santa, but Anything Goes if that's not possible.

My first two cards are recycled from cards I've kept from over the last couple of years;

I've added glitter and gems to the cards, I love the picture on the second card.

These two cards are quite humorous, and from a set by Crafter Companion bought years ago. It's the Raymond Briggs Santa. The set came along with The Snowman. Again I just added glitter and gems.

I've gone back to this lovely Enchanted Christmas range for this Santa with this lovely topper and the beautiful vellum in the background. There is quite a bit of texture on both the topper and the vellum but doesn't show up will in the photograph. I've added a few gems too.

Well, that's it, I hope you like them, I had fun making them, so I hope the CCC girls do to, and remember to have a look at their creations as they always come with fabulous designs.

Before I go, I just wan to say thank you so much for your lovely comments on my last post, it's very much appreciated.

Enjoy your weekend and take care of yourselves and stay safe,

Wonderful cards Kate. You can’t beat a Christmas card with Santa on. Christmas will be upon us before we know it. With this in mind, I made two more cards yesterday, so I think I’ll be sorted by November. Take care and have a good week ahead x

Super selection of Santa's. So different but all great. I love a bit of recycling- I have a habit of keeping cards with that intention but often don't get round to it. Hope all is well with you both. Hugs Christine xx

What an amazing array of cards - I love them all Kate! I could see your comment on the theme Kate so whatever you did must be right. When I want to edit the challenge post I go over to the left hand menu and choose pages then choose the page I want to edit - then just click update - it seems to work.

Sorry to be absent again for so long, Kate. I am so distracted by the upcoming election and will continue to be until, hopefully, Trump is no longer in office. It's very nerve-wracking and hard to concentrate on anything else. Without this hobby, I swear I'd be stark-raving mad! But a visit to you is a pleasure and, even better, it's a calming pleasure and I enjoyed it very much! These upcycled Christmas cards are all delightful! I, too, love that second scene, but they are all worthy of being given new life and passed on. I hope you and Alistair are keeping safe and well! Take care, my friend! Hugs, Darnell

I love all of your Father Christmas cards Kate, recycling is wonderful! My mother always used to keep Christmas cards and used pinking shears to cut the pictures out and use them for tags. Take care and stay safe xx
