Trees for the CCC!

Hello to You All,  here we are at another Sunday and therefore another Christmas Card Club Challenge. These seems to come around so quickly, and to think we are now in July...it's staggering, anyhoo, it's our love;y Shaz who has chosen today's theme and she would like to see Trees, here are mine;
This card is made from another sheet of die cuts from the Works, sorry about the poor photo. I really like these sheets as there is everything there to create a card, just add glue and any little gems and a bit of a mat.
An upcycled card this time , the card was too lovely to throw out as it's a beautiful tree image. I've mounted it on to a glittered oval and more lovely paper from the Works. I've embellished with Memory Box snowflake border and it;;e gems. JND sentiment, I love the font on this sentiment.
There we are Shaz, I hope they will do, thank you for the challenge, I'm always up for doing cards with trees, I love them.

Well, we had a night of torrential rain, cleared a bit now so we are going to go for a walk, I've not been out for one at all this week which is not good, so I'll push myself to go.

I hope your weekend is going well, hopefully better weather than we are having.
Thank you for you lovely comments  on my last card, as usual you are very kind and I appreciate your time.
That's me for now, keep safe and see you soon,

The sheet of die cuts on the first card look beautiful and the tonal effect is beautiful. Great upcycling on your second card and I can see why you wanted to re-use that fabulous tree Kate x.

I have not seen those sheets from The Works( not That I intend having a rummage if and when
I do get out again) before. Sounds a great idea to make a whole card from one. Love what you have done with the recycled card. Very elegant. I am off to The dentist tomorrow as she rang she cancelled my appt yet again but said she had a spot she could slot me into. Not looking forward to going out but I have my face mark at the ready. Hugs Mrs A.

Two gorgeous cards Kate. I have that die cut pad from the Works and they really do make beautiful cards quickly. Second card is a lovely piece of re-cycling. I did my five mile walk this morning and battled the wind the whole way. I was quit pleased to get back home. Not cold, though, despite blowing a gale. Take care and hope you are both well. Hugs Christine xx

Two gorgeous cards, love the Christmas Tree and the glitter card. We have just come back from Fortrose, it was a bit chilly but it was nice to get out of Inverness for a short while. Hope you are both well. Marlene

like your re-cycled card. Pleased to hear

Two sweet cards, the frosty tree in the oval is adorable, as well the golden embellies in the first one, they add a very warm touch to the card.

Two lovely cards, I love the tree, so pretty. It is so hot here, unusual for us to hit 90 but has been over that for 5 days straight and no let up until next week. Weeds are growing, flowers are wilting, and air conditioning runs day and night...........ugh..........but pretty soon we will be complaining of the cold.

I could not agree with you more about how stupid people are. We are now having large breakouts in 23 states again because no one is wearing masks and they opened restaurants and bars. Our leader is nuts and wants everything to go back to normal right now despite all this. I'm afraid it will get worse before it gets better. Now he is demanding that schools open on time, and I would bet my bottom dollar his young son has never stepped in the door of a public school.

Hugs
Sue

Love both trees-they are Peaceful looking. I love doing the pop up type of cards...they always look so good and the last tree is very serene. We have had temp of close to 40C! It was way to hot to do anything

Very pretty seasonal trees Kate and the sheets are great to make a quick card with as you say a few added extra embellishments, and the upcycled image on the second is beautiful and cut with a stitched oval and matted onto a stitched oval too, and love the sweet snowflakes. x
