Christmas Hare!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are well and having a good week so far.
Have you been out and about, maybe at the pub or a theme park, or in Scotland a beer garden???  Thankfully these activities are not necessary for my life to have quality.  I have to wonder about all the crowds out in the streets of Soho.  I am of the opinion that there an awful lot of idiots who have forgotten that there are over 60,000 people who have died many of them needlessly, and now Johnston is blaming the care homes for the deaths in them, truly an evil individual. Rant over!!

Anyhoo, I have a card that I want to enter into;
This is a recycled image, the lovely hare image was too lovely to chuck out. Mounted on to silver mirror card and blue card. Lots of sparkle and so little gems.
Thank you all so much for the lovely comments on my last post, always appreciate them and look forward to receiving them.
So that's me for today, I'm hoping to get out for a wee walk but it's raining off and on, I feel as if Summer has been cancelled,  anyhoo take care of yourselves and see you soon,

Lovely card. Can I just say that a someone who was trained as a nurse and worked in care homes, if workers in the care homes followed correct preceedures so many of their residents would not have gotten infected. Most care homes are private owned and coast a fortune. From my personal experince a lot of them give very poor care. My two cents. x

That is such a sweet image and the mirror cardstock really makes an impact!

Yes it is so sad about all the deaths due to the virus. I live in a state that is doing a pretty good job with the response but we are relying on others not to go around spreading it, now that things have opened up quite a bit. Such a hard situation.

Hi Kate........gosh its like buses, you wait for ages then 3 in 5 mins lol!!!
Your hare is a fab piece of recycling. Sometimes, you do get a nice store bought card where the image is too nice to bin.
Sadly, I know a couple of folk who work in care who have said similar to the lady above, private homes skimping on PPE, even when they've had it. Think its probably the same as most things in life, such as the idiots romping around on the beach and on protests........you get some who abide by common sense and others who ignore it.
Take care.

This hare looks right through you. I love the image and glad you saved the Hare...let's name her Roberta:) Your PM should no better since he had the virus. I also know that the long term care homes were not they are supposed to be which is why so many elderly died. I hope this brought a light to the plight of these long term care homes and implementations will take place namely, hire more full time staff so the PSW's do not have to work at 3 different homes. cleanliness is done as a priority and the higher ups go to these homes on surprise visits to see how everything is being conducted.

A beautiful hare and can see why you wanted to upcycle it Kate and looks so pretty against the silver mirri background, and the dark card shows it off so well. x
