Woodbeard!

Hi Everyone,  mid week already, galloping through another week. How are you all doing, I hope you are well, but healing and kind thoughts to those who are not so good.

Boy was it cold last night, 5 degrees up here in the Glen. We have a bit of sunshine just now, but the temperature hasn't' risen by much.  We get our new heaters in next Monday and so looking forward to that. We have storage heaters and they are the most inefficient of all heating systems, you have to know well in advance if  it's going to be cold as they take so long to heat up, and the other thing is that they can't be regulated, they are supposed to be able , but just not. So new electric panel heaters are being installed, modern things that are more efficient  and not cost so much. Mind you all heating is expensive regardless what kind it is. I'm feeling the cold so much more these days, so here's hoping these new heaters will be successful.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my snow globe cards, really appreciated the time you take to visit.
Thank you too to Di for you visit and clicking the Follow button, I'm delighted to welcome you to my blog and I hope you manage to pop in when you can.

I have Woodbeard for you today;
It is a Pink Ink image and a big one, and once again I have no idea who I would send this to, but I love it. it's watercoloured with Zig pens and WOS. I've cut it all down to fit a 5x7 card base with a little green card showing as a mat. I've inked around the edges with Black Soot DI.

It's taking me ages to finish this card, I began it more than a month ago, I'm slow going because of the leg pain and I've lost a bit of oomph. I've been asked by our friend Dougie to make a wedding card for his Granddaughter, and I have no creative juices whatsoever, but I will have to get a move on as it's needed for later this month.  Anyway, I see the doctor next week, so I'll hear how the latest blood tests have gone and whether the uric acid is still high, if not it will mean a further increase in Allpurinol.

That's me for now, so take care everyone and I'll be back soon,

Very chilly here too Kate. First time this year the inside of the bedroom windows have been steamed against the the extremes of inside versus outside temps. So early too. I love your card. The image is so different. Hugs Christine xx

A very unusual image but very cute and fun! If you aren’t sending it out, why not display it where you craft?
In my neck of the woods we had record high temps today. Will be back to normal tomorrow and then we will feel cold even though it won’t be all that cold.

What a fantastic image Kate and you have coloured it so beautifully and the green mat is so pretty too. I hope that the blood tests show that the levels of uric acid are decreasing as I'm sure it must be extremely painful. Wishing you well. x

Kate this is absolutely delightful. I have looked at these stamps, liked all of them but have been put off by their size. Hope you get good results from your Uric acid testing. The Doc is on the maximum dosesge you can have and so far has not had a repeat attack since being on the higher doseage. Hugs Mrs A.
