Autumn!

Hello Everyone, a new week begins, I hope it will be a good one for you all.

I was at the dentist this morning and I've got an abscess caused by a tooth that will now have to come out, so antibiotics and back on Thursday to remove the tooth. The dentist has been trying to save it for a few years, but obviously enough is enough and out it must come. Now I'm terrified of dentists, even although I have a very good one now, but my fear goes all the way back to childhood. I'm just hoping that she will have no bother pulling it out. There's always something.

Anyway, were kindly given tickets to see Mozart's Don Giovanni as our friend could't use them, this was yesterday. It was being streamed live from The Royal Opera House and it was electrifying, I could imagine what it must have been like to have actually been in the theater, the voices were amazing, especially the Baritone who sang Don Giovanni, what a treat to hear it.

So, thank you for your comments on my last card.
My card today is another Autumnal one and I'm entering it into;
http://sirstampalotchallenge.blogspot.com/2019/10/october-trees-leaves-autumn.html

I've used a lovely CB edge stamp and coloured with Copic Markers. A lovely Inkylicious sentiment with gold sparkle and a few sequins. I've matted on to a mustard shade card.
It's a simple design but one I really like.

Well, that's all from me today, I hope you all had a good weekend and are looking forward to whatever this week brings for you,

I would like to enter my cards into;

I do love it. The leaves are such beautiful autumn colors and the sentiment is wonderful too. We have hit peak for the leaves changing colors and now they are falling like mad due to the cooler nights.
You are the third person this week that I know that has had an abscess in a tooth, one being my husband the other the owner of my local stamp store. Both are having root canals....ugh.....I don't know a sole that likes going to the dentist. Good luck with your extraction, hope everything goes well for you.
The latest thing here is sedation dentistry!

I am leaving shortly to get my molar extracted as well! Wow,Monday is the day to have things done to the teeth. I was and am terrified of dentists stemming from my childhood. The dentist I have now is so calm and good that my fears are better. I am not happy to get this done but this might be the reason why I am dizzy etc... I love your Autumn card with the leaves and the saying is perfect. So pretty

Gorgeous Fall card Kate.
So sorry to hear of your tooth problems. You sound just like me with the fear of dentists from childhood. I'm doing a lot better with it though since I had 2 abscesses, 2 root canals then ended up having to have a root amputation on one of the root canals as it wasn't healing. I am trying my best to keep my teeth.
Good luck mf.
xx Karen

This Autumn Edges stamp by Chocolate Baroque is great for a card this time of year and love the way you have coloured it, and the sentiment looks perfect in the middle...a gorgeous card Kate. I hope your extractions were straight forward and that you are not in too much pain. I know it is not pleasant but I think that sometimes the thought of it is worse than the actual procedure. I'm glad you really enjoyed Don Giovanni and it is a good way of being able to see really world class music at a sensible price in your own locality. I must admit I have never been to one of these but from what you have said it sounds like a great idea. I did go to see Pavarotti and Joan Sutherland at Covent Garden many years ago in my twenties and I have never forgotten it. x
