Christmas Stocking!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are good and getting through your week well.
It's a cold miserable day up here, wondering where Spring has gone, it feels like a day in January today. I had to go and do a bit of food shopping earlier, I was back indoors very quickly. Still I've got a lovely pan of lentil soup to compensate.

Thank you for the lovely comments on my last card, and a warm welcome to Lia, who has clicked the Follow button, I do hope you will pop in as often as you can. Now, unfortunately Lia you don't seem to have a blog so I can't return a visit.

My card today is to enter the https://caschristmascardchallenge.blogspot.com/2019/05/cas-christmas-may-challenge.html

The challenge is asking for a Stocking, and I've used one of the free stamps from one of the Creative Stamping Magazine sets, and the background is coloured with Altenew watercolour and the stocking is coloured with Zig watercolour pens. The sentiment is a freebie too. I've splattered some white gouache over it.

I'm back at the surgery tomorrow to try once again to have blood taken for a test, could't get a vein to work last time, just lovely bruises with nothing to show. The appointment is a bit later in the day, so I'll be drinking lots of water as I believe that plumbs up the veins, anyway I hope it works.

That's me for now, take care and see you soon,

Pouring and cold here Kate, but as hubby keeps reminding me we need the rain for the hay crop. A sweet Christmas stocking image and card. Good luck with the bloods, last week the nurse had to move from one arm to the other to get mine, as you say nice bruises.

A cute Christmas sock and great CAS design. It is a good thing to use those free stamps, sometimes I let them sit too long.

Hope your blood draw works out this next time!

Great colouring Kate. Love the top of the stocking the texture and design of your card.

My son always has trouble with his veins too. He's been told to drink at least a pint of water before attending for blood tests. Good luck with it.

Also here (in sunny Italy) it's cold enough and it's raining... Where is Spring? But Nature needs rain, so it's good, I think :)
Lovely water coloured card, the purple looks great.
Hope your blood test will be successful this time!
Hugs

Another gorgeous card Kate, I love the non traditional Christmas colours. I hope they get your blood ok, They have the same problem with me. They have threatened to cut my throat before now as it would be the only way to get any blood lol!
