Foraging Fairies!

Good Evening Everyone, I hope you've had a good day and managed to do something you like doing. I made two pots of soup and got some knitting done. Alistair was away for a wee sail in Loch Ness, he said the loch was pretty choppy though. rather him than me.

I have a card, yes, another Lavinia one, it's a birthday card for Alistair's Neice,

Stamps, stencil and Elements ink all by Lavinia stamps. Card edged with a silver Sharpie pen, gel pend and glitter. I've used a couple of toadstool stamps on the envelope. It's my first outing of my new gel press, which is also from Lavinia. I feel I need a bit more practice with it.

Karen doesn't look at my blog so I should be safe enough posting her card.

Thank you for the lovely comments on my last card, you are very kind.

That's me for now, take care of yourselves and see you soon,

So pretty. I love this little scene. Seem to have spent all the summer looking at You Tube tutorials. Lost of ideas for cards but no Mojo at present. Hugs Mrs A.

That's a lovely choice of colours Kate and the design with the stencilling across the card is very pleasing on the eye.

What fun - boating on Loch Ness! I have visited Lock Ness, they sure do sell a lot of souvenirs
there. You have more energy - two pots of soup!?!
Your card is delightful - who doesn't love wee fairies!

Hi Kate,
another beautiful card made with Lavinia stamps and gel press.
I love this wonderful design and the fabulous scene you have created.
The colours are so pretty and the word stamp in the background finishes it all off perfectly.
I have a couple of gel presses from when John Lockwood was doing them but I can't remember where I put them.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Kate, if you decide to reopen your account on f/b there is a way to stop people wanting friendship and protecting your account. I have Jo Rice as my group expert and she has so much on my group with video's etc. We also have challenges... if you decide here is my link

Great livinia stamps and I love the colors on the scene. I was off work yesterday and spent the day coloring. It was a great day.

What a great use of the stencil, especially with 2 colors on the opposite sides of the color spectrum, Kate! So clever to make your scene appear as tho we are looking through a portal to your magical fairy land! Beautiful! Wishing you a great week! hugs, de

What a beautiful card and perfect for Alistair's niece Kate, and using lots of pretty Lavinia stamps. I think that the background using the circular gelli plate looks great and the bit of stencilling above and below makes a wonderful finishing touch for this super card. x
