Dandelions and Lavender!

Hello Everyone, I hope all's well and that you've not melted away with all this heat. We are really hot today, but we have some cloud coming in now, but it's not really making it much cooler.

Some areas in England are in quite a pickle with hose bans, at least we don't have that here. We just never get it right in this country, if we have loads of rain, then there's flooding, Autumn leaves falling and snow then the trains have difficulty running, and heat buckles the rails, and causes drought. One wonders how Scandinavian and extremely hot countries manage manage to function. The mind boggles.

Anyway, on to my card,

I've used some Lavinia's latest stamps, open Dandelion and the sentiment, along with Lavender. I made the background with Dilusion Inks and Lavinia's Mystical spray. Posca Splashes and gold gel pens.

This is the first time of using these liquid inks and I think I'll have to do a bit of practise.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments you leave me, they are very much appreciated.

Off now to see about getting dinner ready so that I can sit down and watch Downton Abbey....for the millionth time, I absolutely love it, especially the fashions. So take care and keep cool and see you soon,

An OH! So beautiful card Kate, love the dandelions and the colour mix. The blending is gorgeous. As for heat, we are at 32C, at least we don't have it HOT for long, Sunday will be cooler and next week goodness knows what we'll have. I expect that's why we don't know what to do when we have extremes, hahaha.

A beautiful card Kate, you have created a lovely background for your super stamps.
I think the reason why we are never prepared is because we never know what might be coming - at least in Scandinavian countries they can be pretty sure they are going to get lots of snow.

We were having the very same conversation here yesterday as to why we are the only Country never quite able to cope with weather extremes.

I absolutely love today's card Kate, the colours are beautiful. I too love Downton, have you watched Sanditon or Bridgerton, period dramas set in similar times to the early Downton days.
