Hello All, I hope you are well and enjoying life. It's been a warm sunny day here, but there is definitely an Autumn chill in the air. Yesterday I gave in and put some heating on, I just couldn't get warm and I was wearing a fleece.
Thank you all so much for visiting and leaving such lovely comments on my cards/pictures...even socks, although I've not posted socks for a while. I have a sock on the pins just now and for some reason thought it was my second one, but it isn't , I'll have to get a wiggle on as I'll soon be needing them.
Here is my card for today;
This Carnation Crafts shoe die card was for a friend's birthday in July. The background die and sentiment is also Carnation Crafts, I just added some pearls and a bit of sparkle.
I was listening to our First Minister today and Scotland's covid is pretty high, but as yet there seems to be no restrictions, other than what is there already. I am constantly seeing folks going into the supermarket with out sanitizing either their hand or trolleys, I find it's all quite worrying that there's a load of the population who seem to think that precautions don't matter any longer, and as for social distancing....that's gone completely out the window. Rant over!!

The purple diecut is a beautiful backdrop for that elegant shoe,an exquisite card I hardly ever wear heels nowadays,prefer to be comfortable.
Agree that the lack of giving any thought to the basic hygiene rules is very worrying,more and more folk in all age groups seem not to bother.

Hello sweet friend! I have missed you! I had to take some time to get my mom settled but she's doing much better and I hope to catch up! This is stunning, Kate! I love the brilliant purple and the design is so lovely! I wish our temps were comfortable but it's absolutey HOT and humid here! Hugs! xx

Yes Kate, there's definitely a chill in the air. My Hubby was laughing at me yesterday as I put my boots on to go out. I hate being cold but unfortunately, Due to my age, I have my own central heating system that kicks in occasionally, so I never know what to wear for the best. Hey ho, not the end of the world though! Your card is beatiful. I have a similar shoe die to this one that I haven't used in ages, so I must find it out. Take care x
Gorgeous card Kate and I totally agree..I'm not removing my mask whilst out at all and the supermarket trolley get's sprayed and hands sanitized every time I go into a store but I see other's just don't bother at all they seem to think restrictions are lifted we are immune! so selfish..have a great weekend hugs Sue x

Stunning elegant and beautiful card Kate, so feminine. Love the purple. We take care when going into shops etc, but people are not doing as requested to be sure. It's worrying isn't it? As a family we have been very lucky and no one has had Covid, but just yesterday we had a call to say one of my niece's had it, after being in contact with a friend, who's tests came back negative and is now poorly.

Such a beautiful card! Long gone are the days when I could wear something like that! I am still religiously using the sanitiser, wearing a mask and wiping my trolley down, but so many people aren't!
