It's a Stag Thing!

 Hello Everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend doing something that makes you happy.  We went for a walk to see our lovely swans this morning whilst the weather was good, sunny, but oh so cold, we were in the minuses last night.

The swans have still four cygnets with them, very unusual to have them still after all this time, and they are almost out of their grey feathers. They must be too comfortable with their Mum and Dad.

I bought the latest edition of Creative Stamping Magazine and one of the stamps I thought would be perfect for one of our males friends, here it is;

The marvellous stag stamp has the cottage image with in it, I stamped it in blue ink and mounted on to card inked up with different shades of Oxides, sprinkled some water and dried it off to add some texture. I added a little bit of glitter, I don't think Sean will mind that. Then matted on to Centura Pearl card in blue.  Sentiment has been heat embossed with white  powder from WOW, and finished with 3 little gems.

All  the stamps in the magazine are fabulous and worth a buy, there are some lovely sentiments too, and as a bonus there are 2 stencils, a tree and a stag.

Thank you all for all your lovely comments on my last card, I very much appreciate them all.

That's me for now, enjoy the remainder of your Sunday, and I'll see you soon, and remember to keep safe,

I love this blue stamped stag's head with the scene within it Kate and it looks so pretty on that blue toned background. I bought this too but haven't used this particular stamp yet. I thought the little images would be ideal to use with the Sweet Poppy bauble stencil I bought recently, but there are lots of other great stamps and a very useful stencil, and including this image too which is brilliant, so lots of scope for future cards. Glad you had a lovely walk with some sunshine which is lovely but makes it rather cold when the sky is clear. Take care. x
