Bella for Baby's First Christmas!

 Hello Everyone, I hope your week is shaping up to be a good  one, even although many of you will be in some kind of lockdown, hoping you are all managing to cope with it all, difficult times indeed.

Thank you all for the lovely comments on my last post, always appreciated and it gives me encouragement too.

I have a little card for the gorgeous little one who live next door to us, Alessandro, I put a photo of him in his bat suit at Halloween;

Iv'e used a Wild Rose Studio stamp called Bella with a wand . I've coloured it up with Copic markers and added silver gel pen and Stickles in Star Dust. I've matted it on to silver mirror card cut with a Carnation Crafts Shabby Rectangles die. The paper is from Wild Rose and matches the stamp. Purple card and various letters and numbers dies.

Alistair and I had a lovely time with Damian and Moreen on Saturday, and a wonderful meal, the food was excellent and we felt stuffed, but the real treat was in being able to spend time with them. Damian and Alistair spent time telling Moreen all about our Wedding Day as she wasn't there, I'd forgotten that there were some brilliant stories attached to the day.  Apparently, one of our guests decided she anted to test how much her husband loved her, and if she jumped into the River Ness would h come and get her out, so she jumped in. I have to say that our reception venue was on the street along side the river banks, and she was rather the worse of drink, anyhoo, her husband didn't rescue her, someone else did. They divorced not long afterwards. It all sounds awful and hugely dangerous, as this was at night in November and the river can be very fast flowing, however, if you knew this couple you'd see a funny side. I should write a book some day about the day.

So that's me for today, keep yourselves safe, we'll come out the other side I'm sure,

A Beautiful card for him to treasure Kate, love the elephant and tree, so cute. A Special card with his name on too. Happy to hear you had a good time and you could reminisce over good times. Such a funny story too.
We are out of lockdown, but still haven't ventured out yet!

This is a beautiful card Kate, perfect for little Alessandro's first Christmas. Your book, should you get time to write it would make great reading I think, you have a knack for telling a good story, your posts are always so interesting.

Hi Kate,
what a wonderful card for little Alessandro that stamped image is so sweet.
Great design and fab paper used too.
I take it with a name like that they have Spanish heritage.
My that lady did go to extremes with trying to prove her husband loved her she is lucky to be alive.
Couldn't have done that with my husband as he couldn't swim and neither could I.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

This is very sweet and I love that it is personalized! Glad you got some good socializing in! At least, here we are being asked not to socialize anymore, as much as possible. Have a good night!

PS you should write a book! That's funny, but sounds dangerous, but then drink will do that to folks.
