Snowflakes for the Christmas Card Club!

Hello Everyone, I hope you remain well and are having a good weekend and that you weather is better than ours here in Inverness. cold, rain and pretty dull, not like Spring at all. We did manage a wee walk in the morning.

It's time for the Christmas Card Club Challenge, I can hardly believe two weeks have past  by since the last one. This time around it's our lovely Gwen who has chosen the theme of Snowflakes  on our cards, or if that can't be managed there is always the alternative Anything Goes.

First card uses a Little Claire image and coloured with Copic Markers, and Versa Colour ink on the background. Snowflake EF on the base card, and some glitter paper and a few tiny clear gems, Sentiment LC.
Card no. 2 uses another Little Claire image and once again coloured with Copic Markers.Red glitter paper and paper from a Dove Craft paper pad. The snowflake dies are also by Dove Craft, more tiny clear gems.
Last card is a Christmas tree make of snowflakes by Stampin Up. I embossed with copper Wow embossing powder. Mounted on to an oval of  Antique Rose Mirror card and the paper is by Dove Craft,Sentiment from SU, finishing off with some copper coloured gems
I hope these will do Gwen, it was a lovely challenge and I really enjoyed making the cards for it.

Please look out for the other girl's cards they always come up with stunners. I've sill not got around to putting there links at the side of my page, I will one day.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last post.
Scheduling this post for tomorrow, at least I hope I can with this new blogger, anyway, take care of yourselves and see you soon,

Three fabulous cards from you today, Kate.
Those snowman images are adorable and so are the cards you created with them.
But, I think the last card steals the show! What a wonderful die cut snowflake tree. I LOVE it!
The copper and the rose gold mat looks so stunning against the darker background.

Three gorgeous christmas card, I love the first one the most.
Our weather in somerset has been better than yours, very dry and hot, until the last few days when it turned cold and at last we had some rain for the garden.
Hope your weather improves

Always love a snowman card and these two are gorgeous Kate. Plenty of snowflakes to fit our theme this week on all three fabulous cards. Our weather is just the same as yours today, dull, rainy and quite cold :(

Three terrific cards today Kate. I love all the snowflakes which are coming out of the first snowman's hat. The weather here has been pretty dire too. Yesterday thunder and a hailstorm. This morning seemed better but by lunchtime it was lashing down but we did really need it so I'm not complaining too much. Hugs Christine xx

Same weather here Kate and the heating back on the last few days. You have been busy with three very different designs, the snowman (or should it be snowperson these days?) on the first is real fun.

What a wonderful set of cards Kate, as for rain, we had a little with a small thunderstorm on Friday, nothing since, sunny this afternoon and not too bad with heat, although again on Friday we had to put the heating on, crazy weather ay?
Take care

Hi Kate,
what perfect cards and perfect designs also.
Your stamping and inking designs are so gorgeous and I love all three of them.
Especially the snowman with the owl.
We have had very cold and at last damp weather here in the south.
My I can't remember a June this cold before.
As you know I have storage heaters which I turned off a few weeks ago when it was so hot.
It takes 24 hours if you turn them on again to get any heat and by then it may warm up again.
Oh how I hate my heating and it cost me the earth too and I am with one of lowest electricity suppliers.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Great cards Kate! I adore your sweet snowman and then the added dry embossed background goes really well, then another cute snowman and love the patterned paper in the background and some pretty added die cut snowflakes too, and the last very shiny and sparkly embossed tree looks so beautiful on the mirror card, and a wonderful background paper too. x
