Mandarin Ducks!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are all well, and safe......not dashing to and queuing at the shops 😒.
The people queuing up was a frightening scene to behold.  I do hope that most people will revalueate what's important in their lives, and that the art of consumerism could be a thing of the past. Oh well one can dream.  We will hear in Scotland what measures will be further relaxed this Thursday.

I've been busy colouring another post card by Clarity Stamps, I've been at it for over a week on and off, I do enjoy it and I find I get quite lost in it, so much so that I forget to go and see about dinner, anyway, here are some Mandarin Ducks;
I've used a combination of Prismacolour and Faber Castell pencils and a little white gel pen.
I have another one just started, but I really must get some housework done lol.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my last card, I love receiving and reading them.

That's me for now, take care of yourselves and see you soon,

That coloring is fabulous! Great job!

We were a hard hit area and we are finally seeing our numbers go quite far down. We aren’t totally open yet but people are going about much more often. We are trying to do things mostly outdoors, that seems safer, although I am letting my son see one friend later this week.

Your Mandarin Ducks are beautiful Kate, fabulous colouring.
I really do not understand people that feel they have to rush back to the shops the first day they open - I am in no hurry!

This is striking and you coloured them so well, it’s like a modern almost abstract painting even though it is not. Love the bright colours used. People will always want to spend which is sad.

Wow, Kate! What beautifully colored mandarin ducks! GORGEOUSLY done! I concur about the "huddling together" being seen in public these days. Wouldn't it be nice if people would simply use common sense and respect each other? I hope you and yours remain safe and healthy. love, de

Loving your ducks.Your colouring is brilliant. I haven't done any of the colouring with Barbara yet and need to catch up on last weeks to Dooddle a windmill. Can't seem to settle to anything much right now. Watched the shopping scenes in horror on the news. I think some people need to get their priorities right,buying a lipstick and new cushions just because the shops were open and they could.!!!!! Our dentist rang this morning and said the appt's that they had already cancelled with us and rescheduled for next week are also postponed as their PPE has not arrived. At least they are taking it seriously. Not looking forward to going back out at all and it will only be to the dentist, opticians and the hairdresser if and when she reopens. Will all have to be carefully timed for getting back home in time for the loo.
Hugs Mrs A.

Gorgeous colouring Kate and love the mandarin ducks. I haven't been joining in the colouring but think that all the work I have seen has been beautiful, and this is wonderful colouring. I have been thinking about buying a better set of pencils as I have a couple of the older sets sof Crafters Companion ones but am not overly impressed with them, and I know the Prismacolour and Faber Castell ones are good, but cannot decide which of the two brands to get as some people say Prismas are better whilst others favour FC, and as they are expensive I want to get it right. x
