New Home!

Hello Everyone, hope all is well with you and that life is good.  Sorry not to have been around and commenting just lately, but we have been down in Glasgow helping Alistair's brother and niece to move home....all so bad timing but hey ho that's life. So we were very busy for a few days and have come back home absolutely whacked and with colds, however, Jim and Karen are moved in to a lovely flat with a lift, making it much easier for Jim and with the most wonderful view as they are seven floors up; for the Scots amongst you.... the view goes all the way to the Campsie Hills. Mind you so good to be back home again.

Here is the card I made for Jim and Karen;
This is a lovely digital image from Lavinia  Stamps, and coloured with my new Copic Markers. Background paper is from Crafty Individuals. The sentiment is also from Lavinia.  What a job I had trying to resize these stamps as they came in PDF form, and I just couldn't crop them, so just had to print them out in the large size they arrived in, making for a large card. I installed a photo editor to help, but couldn't make head or tail of it. I just usually use the one that comes with the computer, but PDF things don't work in it, however, I think this is okay.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last card, all comments are appreciated.
I'm hoping to get around to commenting on your lovely projects soon, but please forgive if I miss you. It's a lot to catch up on.

Off to the surgery to have blood taken for my diabetic review, I absolutely hate it, having said that I expect everyone does, but needs must, I just hope the nurse can find a vein easily, I always feel like a pin cushion.

Have a lovely day and I'll see you soon,

Your card is gorgeous. Lovely image and great paper. Perfect for the occasion for a new home.
As for the pdf, here is what I do: Go to google and type "convert pdf to jpg". Then you upload your pdf and you get extract the pages (separately). Download them. So, you have jpg images and you can crop them or resize them. If you need more help, send me an email to craftartista@gmail.com to explain more things to you.
Hugs, sweetie.

Fabulous card, so whimsical! Great colouring! I too love Lavinia stamps, but I have never bought one of the digi!
If you use Acrobat Reader to open the pdf, you can take a screenshot of the image tracing a rectangle with the camera button (or going to menu, tab change/take a shot) and then you can paste the snapshot in any other program you need, as the photo editor or MS Word... and resize it. Hope it could help the next time

Oh, how cute Kate, and just great for a new home card, and you have coloured it beautifully with your Copics and the colours are perfect with the CI paper too. I found this on line so will send it but have noticed that Mia has suggested you convert it to a jpg. Now I am not particularly savvy with these things but you may be able to follow this and get it to work:

Click Choose File and select file from your local device or simply drag-and-drop it into the box. You will see a preview of the PDF file once it is uploaded. Drag the rectangle to adjust the selected area you want to crop then click the button Crop PDF. Then you can download your cropped PDF file.

I hope this helps. x

Now I am concerned as I definitely didn't get his post....I shall investigate.
Hope the bloods went well and it must be so tiresome for you but as you say necessary x
The digi image on your gorgeous card is so striking, with such pretty colours.
Glad the move went well for Jim and Karen and it helps because of the lift too x....Hope you have recovered?
