Hello Everyone, I hop you are well and keeping safe and cosy in all this awful weather that's hitting the country at the moment. We are very cold, but thankfully the snow at low level has almost disappeared. Snow is wonderful but not when you have to go out in it other than to make a snowman Lol.
It's time again for the Christmas Card Club to show their latest cards and this time it's Granmargaret choice of theme and it's Angels or Fairies.
I went for Angels and found some lovely little images and papers from old copies of Making Cards magazines.
Nothing complicated just images and papers stuck down. Although I did cut the oval , it looks a bit wonky though. I hope they will do Margaret. It was good to use stash that I never use, so thank you for your choice.
Alistair is now back home having spent a few days with his brother and niece. Jim had his biopsy results and they have offered him Chemo which he is taking. Without it he would only have around 9 months, but with the treatment going well, he's be told it would gain him around another couple of years.....so the best outcome really. Jim is still very positive, and awfully brave as he knows that it will most likely be a rough ride. Karen is more settled after the initial shock of the diagnoses and focusing on keeping her Dad well, helping him change his diet to more veggie dishes, and making sure life carries on as normal. So there we are for now. Thank you all for the kind comments and words of encouragement.
Thanks too for the lovely comments on my last card for the CCC, at least these ones will be on time.
Scheduling this post for tomorrow when the blog goes live, take care everyone and see you soon,

Two lovely cards Kate and I adore the first one. I'm sorry to read the results of Jim's biopsy but pleased that they are trying to make things as positive as they possibly can do. That's the best way and will bring out the best in everyone. My thoughts and prayers go with you all x

Hi Kate, two beautiful cards, they are fabulous images. I hope Jim does well with the chemo, how badly it upsets you seem to vary from person to person. My personal recommendation for any sickness is Crystallized Ginger! It was recommended to me, and it works wonderfully. Sending hugs, Shaz X
These are beautiful Kate. Especially love the oval one. I do admire Jim's bravery and positive thinking. It is the only way isn't it. Sending hugs, Flo xx

These 2 are so beautiful and I just love angels. It seems appropriate to have angels considering what is going on. Angels are always with us
So glad for the positive notices :)
LOVE both these angels cards, how beautiful!!! The images are fabulous and such great designs!
Well that is good news for your Brother in law. I hope that the treatment goes well for him. Two lovely Angel images made into gorgeous cards. Very cold here too. I have to venture out later today down to the shops but most of the snow has gone now. The wild birds (plus 3 squirrels) are eating us out of house and home. I had to place an emergency order with Happy Beaks which fortunately arrived this morning so they have plenty of seed and nuts to eat again. Hugs Mrs A.
Both cards are so beautiful with fabulous images and great recycling x.
Thank you for the update on Jim and Karen and I am sending further positive thoughts x
Your beautiful "finds" of the Angel images are lovely, and your cards are too.
Hope your brother-in-law manages the Chemo and can have good days ahead.
Hugs
Sue
beautiful, elegant and lovely Kate.
xx Karen
Lovely cards Kate, angels or fairies is a great theme and those images are perfect
We got off lightly with the snow this time, just a covering that soon disappeared so we were lucky
I hope Jim has a good result from the chemo, I think carrying on as normal is definitely the best way to go but a very hard time for all the family I'm sure
Anne x
Sending love and best wishes to Jim. 🙏🏻
