Three Cheers for Christmas!

Hello Everyone, and what a gorgeous day it is here in Inverness, I hope the sun is shining gloriously wherever you are.
Start of another week, it's all going to quickly, but at least we had a lovely weekend.  We had our walk along the riverside in Nairn yesterday, in fact you can walk along the river all the way to Cawder, of Macbeth fame.  Just a wee bit long for me at the moment, but perhaps some day.  We stopped half way along our walk and had a coffee and a choc digestive and watched the sun dapple through the trees onto the water, and a family of swans, quite a big family, mum, dad and seven cygnets, they were adult size but with still their grey plummage, just lovely. With all the awful stuff that's going on around the world, I felt privileged that we can do this, that we can take advantage of the lovely part of the world we live in and not be fleeing for our lives.

Anyway, back at the doctor's this morning to get the results of the blood test, you'll never guess, their whole computer system was down, couldn't give me the results and as I had only ever seen this particular doctor once before, she couldn't remember what I had consulted her about.  I could feel my self begining to seeth inwardly at the nonsense on everything now being computerised, I mean how can the doctors so their job when this happens.  So I'm not further forward in learning what the problem is, and the new medications is'nt really helping all that much, so, it will be a visit to the hospital for the camara down the throat, shuddering as I think about it.

On to my card for today;
I love Snowmen, well who doesn't, LC image and senitment, matted and layered on to blue and mirri card, coloured with SN pens.  Snowflake die came along with my club stamp from LC, Papermaina tiny bow, Liquid pearls, gems and Star Dust and that's that.

Thank you all so much for visiting and commenting on my cards, love that you do and hope you keep on doing it, it's lovely to see new visitors too.
I hope everyone is keeping well, but sending out good wishes to those who are not.

I've got a date with a tin of varnish and a paint brush, so I'd better be off and get started, take care
I would like to enter my card into:

Shame about your results Kate, I hope they're going to ring you with them after going in especially for them? We do have a good surgery here.

I love your snowmen card, the added glitter and mirror card really makes it pop, a lovely snowflake too.

Enjoy your varnishing!

Hugs Erika. x

I never met a snowman I didn't love either. This is a wonderful bunch. Love the colors. The mirror paper looks great, kinda icy! And I love snowflakes too, wonderful card, Kate.
Sorry you didn't get answers at the docs, hope you get relief soon. We have the same thing here, the doctor doesn't really know you anymore like they did years ago. Thinking of you.
Your swan sighting sounds lovely they are such beautiful birds.

Hugs
Sue

Hey Kate! Such a fun card - I do love snowmen!
Do not worry about the test - I do think it will show the problem more than a blood test -- I have had the same thing done -- no big deal Sugar!
I wish you could take pictures along your walk. I would dearly love to return to Scotland!
By the way - what is a choc digestive?
We are so lucky to live where we do -- and yes I agree - the world is in quite a turmoil.

Fabby snow family card Kate.

No wonder you were annoyed at the Doctor. How ridiculous! Hope you've stopped seething inwardly now and feel better anyway!

Hi Kate,
what a brill Christmas card.
Love that super image of the snowmen, and your wonderful design.
You are right about the Docs as they should have a backup for such occasions, as
Windows computers are always crashing.
I don't know why they don't use Linux or a Mac they are much more reliable, and hardly ever crash, and your don't get all those pop up adverts either.
Also they are so more secure too.
So sorry to hear about your health probs.
I do hope all goes well with your hospital appointment.
Love and biggest get well hugs from my house to yours.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
