In Greys and yellows!

Hello there, I hope you are all tip top this fine Saturday morning. It's a bit dull here but, other than that it's not too bad.

Having a lazy morning today, I've decided any housework can take a back seat. I'm still thinking I've got to rush and get absolutely everything done in my two days off, which included, housework, shopping, rest time to recover from a week at work and do something meaningful and fun, and perhaps meet a friend.  How was it all achieved??. I am so glad I don't have to do that any more, and feel privileged that I don't, cos many people have to keep working until they drop.

Thank you for your lovely comments on my last card, you are all very kind.

Here is my share today;
I've use the gorgeous Butterfly Dress Stamp and Floral Images from Chocolate Baroque and you can find them here,  I just love this image and it is wonderful to colour. I will be entering it into the latest colour challenge and here is the colour pallet;
I found these brilliant colours to work with and didn't have as much trouble matching them as I usually do.  DI inks used to colour and image matted on to a shimmery grey card, I've also used a beautiful paper from Lesley at CB, the shades are just perfect, although you don't see much of it.
Wink of Stella used on the centre of the flowers on the borders and Cosmic Shimmer Glitter on the dress and butterflies.
Black Pearls. Didn't think it needed any ribbon and bows.

That's me for today, now going for a journey through your blogs to see your super creations and then out for a bit of lunch. Enjoy your day and see you soon.

I would like to enter my card into;

I was smiling whilst reading your post Kate. You know I used to get so much more done when I worked. Now I just think where has the time gone and pat myself on the back if I get a couple of jobs out the way!!!!
Absolutely gorgeous card. (with my other hat on, thank you for playing along with the CB challenge)
Have a lovely relaxing weekend.
Big Hugs Flo x

Lovely card Kate. Your stamp choice is one of my favourites. I know Flo has already said it, but once again, thanks for entering the CB challenge and good luck X

So glad to hear you are adjusting to retirement (and learning how to leave something 'for tomorrow'!) Your image is so beautifully unusual...and the WoS shows great if the picture is enlarged. Love the coloring, and the way you've added just the perfect paper to complement this gorgeous image. Also liked the S/B shapes the way you've done them, and the sponging on the focal image looks great - leaving a bit of white around the image certainly creates a glow. TFS & Have a wonderful wkend. Hugs

Hi Kate
Love the colours that you have used and the design and stamp is fab.
I have to say, I don't get as much done working part time rather than when I worked full time lol!
Good luck in your challenge chuck.

Wonderful card Kate - I wonder how heavy this dress would be to wear!!
I never get all my work done, spend way too much time on the computer and say "oh well, there is always tomorrow"!
