Peace and Quiet!

Hello Everyone from a very cold and snowy Inverness, and boy is it cold. We went for a walk in between the snow showers this afternoon, and it felt bitter, and we didn't make it back before the white stuff started again, so by the time we made it home we were like snowmen.

Anyway, how are you all doing, I hope well and keeping warm and cosy.

Thank you all so much for the lovely comments on my last coloured page.

I have a card today;

This is a card for my friend Fiona who is recovering from surgery, she has had one helluva year with illnesses...well last  year really, with a diagnoses of breast cancer just before Christmas, so I'm hoping that this wee card will bring her a smile.

A LOTV coloured printed image, matted on to purple card, sentiment is from a Creative Stamping magazine, a couple of gems and a little bit of Star Dust Stickles. I think this is such a sweet image and one that could be used for many occasions.

That's me for now,  take care of yourselves and see you soon,

Hi Kate,
So sorry to hear this about your friend.
My Daughter's partner's sister had it quite bad and made a full recovery.
So lets hope and pray she does too.

Love your get well card as your say that should cheer her up.
You can always rely on a LOTV image to be so cute and gorgeous.
Love the DL shape too.

Oh my I do hope it warms up for you soon first the storms and now the snow.
I am so glad it's warmer in my area my last Eletric bill for late December and part of January was 245 punds just for one moth Can't imagine what your must be.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

That’s a beautiful card Kate and I’m sure that your friend will appreciate and treasure it. No snow here but it’s definitely a lot colder than it was at the beginning of the week. Fingers crossed that it warms up soon x

Such a lovely card Kate, I'm sure it will be received with joy and bound to give her a lift, at this worrying time for your friend.
OH! Snow, it's cold enough here in Wales, but no snow just wind and at last a sunny day, we don't seem to have seen the sun for weeks!
Enjoy your weekend and keep warm, even with energy prices as they are!

Morning Kate. I hope Fiona makes a full recovery soon. I’m sure your beautiful card will go some way to cheering her up. We have had hailstones, but we rarely get snow. Partly because we are on the coast. Stay cosy and warm. Hugs Rita xxxx

Very sweet card, hope she soon improves. No snow here yet, we don’t get much these days not like when we were young.
