Music for the CCC!

Hello Everyone, where did the last two weeks go to??? You know the weeks where there was no Football!!!  Anyhoo, Germany has just scored another goal making that 4 as I'm sitting here typing this, so I guess that's Portugal saying cheerio, unless Ronaldo can do his magic.

So, it's time for the CCC to show their latest themed cards and this time that's been chosen by Elizabeth and it's Music, here is what I've managed,

I used some paper from an older Papermania pad which has a musical score and a lovely poinsettia, I cut out one of the other blooms and decoupaged it, then added some gems and sequins. The sentiment is from Chocolate Baroque. Layered and matted onto gold glitter card and red card, job done. Thank you so much Elizabeth for this lovely challenge, I did enjoyed it and I knew at once what I would do, of course that all depended on finding this paper pad, which I did.

Remember to look at what my CCC teamies create there are always wonderful cards.

I've been trying to sign up to Follow.it.com without success, I get so far than I'm asked to claim my blog and I become unstuck. I also remember back in the day when Blogger talked about ending Blogger and quite a few of us signed up to Bloglovin, I think I did too, but I can't find my blog on it, although I'm sure someone said they followed me on it. Once again, I just can't claim my blog. It asks for an RSS feed...not a clue, If anyone can give me a pointer I'd be grateful. I must be an awful dummy and don't know how I ever set up this blog in the first place. I'd hate to have to stop blogging but it might come to that. I just wish Blogger would leave well alone.

On that disgruntled note, thank you for all your lovely comment on my last coloured page, and take care everyone and enjoy your weekend,

A lovely card Kate, the pretty music paper in the background is so subtle but does a great job showcasing the poinsettias.
I'll be a little late with my post tomorrow - life got in the way :/

A beautiful card Kate and I love the music background. Yes, I wish they would just leave things alone. I can see why so many people have left blogging in favour of other social media platforms. I've never heard of 'Floow It'so just off for a look now. Enjoy the rest of your weekend xx

Such a lovely backing paper which is perfect for this challenge. The poinsettia die cuts are gorgeous. I don't have too many people who follow me via email. Even when I get the message (which can be quite late) it still shows in my reading list so I think I'll just carry on with that for now. Luckily John is a rugby league man and doesn't follow football at all, so no footie in this house. Yay!! Hugs Christine xx

No magic from Ronaldo after his initial goal so your assumptions were right Kate, in fact her was rather like a spoilt child at the end when they lost. Confess to being an addictive footie fan and am just about to go watch the Grand Prix as love F1 as well, and cricket, sad for a woman I know.

Loving your Poinsettias which look lovely decoupaged.

I love your poinsettias Kate. Card is super. I tried downloading my list of follow by e-mail as blogger said and fell at the first hurdle. No clues as to what I should be doing. Hugs Mrs A.

This is such a marvellous card Kate, love the music and poinsettia, I think they are traditional and beautiful.
Your RSS feed is your blog address ie press Home and copy the address and enter it into the first page on Follow.it, I left everything else the same in the next page, click on the icon you prefer, you should then "upload it onto your site and link it to... which should show your blog https address. Click done.
I hope that helps.

Lovely bright card. No idea about followit.com, have no trouble with blogger at the mo. I wonder how I ever set up my blog, would hate to start from scratch now. I have bloglovin’ on my sidebar, think I went into bloglovin’ and added it. I must admit I never look at it though

Beautiful card, Yes I love my blog but I never signed up to bloglovin when I came out, I do wish they would leave things alone, it’s the same with mircosoft and windows 10: they drive me potty..
I am so fed up with football why does it have to be on all channels, they always move programmes around just for it, I’m not into football but I am sure they coukd have a special channel for it.
Hope you are well and staying safe
