House and Dragonfly!

Hello Everyone, I hope all is good for you and that your weekend  has been enjoyable. We have has a beautiful day up weather wise, long may it last.

Well not only do we have football, but now the Tour de France, which I don't mind. two dreadful crashes yesterday, one caused by a spectator, hold a big sign at the edge of the road. I'm pleased to hear that the French Police are looking for her in order to sue. You get some numpties don't you.

Anyway, I have another page for you,

This is from Maria Trolle's Nightfall, and all was going well until I tried to do a background with Neo colours, didn't work so tried to put DI on it. Oh well live and learn. I need more practice with these mediums. As  I coloured this page away back in March, I can't remember what pencils I used.

Here is the lovely book the page is from.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my last coloured page.

Thank you too for your help in setting up Follow.it, I've managed to get something up on my side bar, but I don't know if it works. I've given up worrying about it though.

That's me for tonight, keep yourselves safe and see you soon,

A lovely coloured home and dragonfly. I need to get my colouring pencils out. We are in a heat wave now...too darn hot, that is disgusting that a fan got that close to cause such a horrible crash. I have watched this in the past and always felt the people were too close.

Hi, Kate! Hoping this finds you well, and enjoying both sports events. It truly was sad about the spectator doing what she did. I do consider that "assault" whether it was intended or unintentional. Think of the people who might suffer certain permanent problems going forward.

I love your scene! After admiring it for a few moments, I finished reading your post and see that you are disappointed about the background. While I understand what you say, I truly thought that was a MARVELOUS background! I was actually examining the sky to figure out how you did it! Marvelous creation, and I hope you will keep on sharing! big hugs, de

Hi, Leslie! It always is a pleasant surprise seeing my little freebies with your cards. So glad you enjoy the inserts! I would never have thought to use strips of paper in this fashion. I especially love the green shadows in your pretty snowflakes. I feel merry just looking at this sweet creation! Thanks for today's inspiration. huggers, de

Hi kate,
that is so pretty and your colouring looks fab.
Just wish my eyes would let me colour again.
Your weather sounds much better than here in the south.
one thing good about being on your own you have control of the remote so no sports, but when Tone was alive he had his own TV in the bedroom as he was more comfortable sitting on the bed watching TV where as I was never comfortable like that and the TV was too far away for my eye probs so I had my own Tv in the living room where I was more comfortable and closer to it.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
