Hello Crafting Friends and Visitors, how are things with you, good I hope. We have lots of sunshine and more heat than the last few days which is good. Alistair has been getting on with painting jobs outside, whilst I've been to my aqua class, and boy does it tire me out, but I'm sure there's a benefit.
We had a lovely lunch out with Damian and Moreen on Saturday, catching up on the their and my birthday celebrations, it was lovely to do something normal again, lovely food and a great catch up, especially with Moreen and a first hug in a long, long time.

A beautiful summer wreath Kate. I’m pleased to hear that you enjoyed your birthday celebrations with family and it’s so good being able to have a hug again. When I hug my grandchildren, I just don’t want to let them go as it feels like we’ve missed out on a year in their little lives. Let’s hope that things keep going in the right direction x

A lovely page Kate and beautifully coloured. It sounds like you had a lovely catch up with Damian and Moreen, it is nice to be gradually getting back to some normality, we have started to have our weekly pub lunch again, albeit only in the pub garden at the moment - it is so nice not to have to cook.

Lovely to read you had a meal out and a long awaited hug, I am hoping for the same at the weekend, seeing some of the children who live distantly and not seen since lockdown started. I am just praying for good weather as having committed to having them visit there would be too many for indoors under current regulations. As mu daughter next door said, better tell them all to bring coats.
