Winter Scene for the CCC!

 Hello Everyone, how are you all doing? I hope your weekend is going well and you have some great plans, weather permitting of course. Our weather is very chilly and the rain has been awful, not at all like May.

Anyhoo, two weeks have gone by and it's time again for the Christmas Card Club girls to show their latest cards. This time it's Christine who has chosen the theme and it to show a Winter Scene so here's what I've made;

All of my cards this time are printed sheets from LOTV Esty Shop. I tried three times to stamp and colours images and all of them landed in the bin, so as time was getting short, I had to think what I could come up with, then a lightbulb moment.....LOTV came to the rescue. All I've added has been, sentiments, card, paper, glitter and gems.

Thank you Christine, it was a lovely challenge, even although I struggled a bit. I love these images and the village scene are so traditional.

The images I was trying to colour were very small and I had difficulty seeing what I was doing, even with may glasses on. Now, I thought that I would need new reading glasses, but I got my eyes tested last week and the optician said there was very little difference and didn't change the prescription, but I might go back and speak to him.

So, thank you for all the super comments on my steampunk fish, and a Hello to my new Followers, who sadly doesn't seen to have a Blog, so I can't return the visit, but I do hope you visit again.

Question??? what are folks doing about this notice regarding Feedburner? I'm pretty sure no one contacts me by email to leave a comment on my blog, so maybe I don't need to do anything, what do people think?

That's me for now, remember to have a look at what the other CCC girls make, they are always brilliant cards, and I'll see you soon,

Your cards are great, lovely images and perfect for the theme. I had forgotten that LOTV did scenes as well as cute images.

Gorgeous cards Kate, I love the traditional images a little sparkle and Christmas comes alive with them.
As for feed burner Kate, I have emails telling me of your posts, I would be lost without emails to tell me that people have posted on their blogs, I know I would forget to visit. That is why I looked for an alternative to feed burner on my own blog.

Lovely Christmas cards Kate! I followed the instructions for feedburner, but it is to download over a thousand peoples personal emails, I don’t want to see them or have them lots of data protection laws involved in that. I think blogs are not so popular now, and it seems to be getting more and more difficult to use them. Take care and stay safe x

Gorgeous cards Kate. Love your idea of adding sentiments etc. I subscribe to your blog and get an email notification (normally the next day) to let me know you have posted. I did google blogspot feedburner news. There was this article. Is this what you are talking about ? https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2021/04/changes-to-feedburner Not sure if you have seen this or if it is any help. I got lost at Core feed management functionality!!! LOL! Take care, Hugs Flo xx

I'll admit I am totally unsure about this Feedburner business Kate, from what I can gather and I may be totally wrong, it's likely to affect those on Wordpress more as they don't have reading lists so rely on e.mail notifications. That said I do know a few who use blogger and have asked me to add the e.mail option to the challenge blogs so they can follow that way. Hopefully more will become apparent before long.

Pretty Christmas cards.

A super collection of cards Kate, some lovely scenes.
I don't think the changes to Feedburner will make any difference if you receive emails via your blogger settings but I could be wrong.

All of these scenes are lovely and make wonderful holiday cards.

I'm not concerned about getting emails about someone leaving me comments on my blog, I check my blog not my emails for that information.
