Vines and Berries!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are all well and having a good day, but sending kind thoughts to you if life is difficult for any reason for you just now.

I hope you are remaining safe from these high winds and floods, Autumn has fairly arrived with a bang. We had torrents of rain the other day, and high winds last night, Teallach refused to go out at night, didn't blame him.

Thank you for you lovely comments on my last card, I love reading them and do appreciate the time it takes you all to visit. I am however getting some strange comment from folks who have nothing to do with crafting....and usually it's men, haven't a clue how they reach here...nothing offensive thankfully, but I'm beginning to think that I should have the approved thingy on, that some of you have. Now I've looked at the settings but I'm not sure how to do it.... can anyone tell me what to press?? I'm always afraid that  I'll scupper my blog cos I would never remember how to start it all again.

Anyway, I've another card with a beautiful Aurora Wings lady;

I've coloured her with watercolours and added some sparkle pen, sequins and a mixture of leaf dies, a little bow and job done.
I just love these images and have quite a few, they do take time to colour though as there is so much detail, but so worth it.

Well that's me for today, time for a cuppa before getting down to sort out dinner. See you soon,

That image is absolutely beautiful Kate, such a lvely creation with her. I had several dodgy comments a couple of weeks ago and in the end switched on comment moderation on for a week or so and seemed to deter them. Sad people with nothing better to do with their time IMHO.

That's wonderful Kate, what a beautiful image
Manny is just the same, he takes one look out and if it's raining he's not interested, he must be crossing his legs some days!!
I usually get an email if I have any dodgy comments and then have the option of publishing or deleting them, some genuine ones sneak in though and sometimes the spam is published so I don't know what the answer is. I have no idea how they find our little blogs or what they have to gain by leaving those random comments

A stunning creation Kate. Your colouring and shading is absolutely superb and the die cut leaves just finish it off perfectly. I’ve just had a look for you and I’ve found the moderation button. You need to to go into settings, then into posts, comment and sharing. When you click this, it gives you the option to turn the button on. Hope that helps you. I’ve always had mine switched on but I’ve still had an increase in Spam over the last few weeks, just absolute gobbledegook! Our weather hasn’t been too bad until today and it’s just poured it down for most of the day. Take care and stay warm. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

Ooh, this is just gorgeous, Kate and I love how you've added the beautiful die cut leaves down the side. Perhaps you can think of a song inspiration for this beauty and add it to our current blog challenge. As they say, "You have to be in it to win it. LOL To switch to comment moderation on your blog you go up top right to Design, then to Settings. Under Settings to Posts, Comments, Sharing. Then Comment Moderation, check always and you will be informed when you have comments to review. Hope that helps. xxD

Wow Kate, you are rocking these gorgeous Aurora images, just love how you coloured her, I have some beautiful ones too and need to have more ME time instead of DT work all the time...She is stunning and the water colours are just amazing...
Received my Altenew paints, and wondering what the spare paint box is for, did you get that as well? Have the full set and an empty one?? xx

This is a beautiful card and I love the colours you used. It reminds me of Autumn but with all the flowers that come. I love the shading and the die cut flowers on the side. I don’t know why some different people are commenting who have nothing to do with cards. I do make cards....I swear! I just talk a lot bout movies to.

It really shows that you took the time to colour every little bit Kate as it is gorgeous, and the soft ink blending around the edges works beautifully. I adore the added ivy and leaves with such a pretty bow on the top, and the sequins and pearls too. I have comment moderation set so if I get any comments come through which are either advertising something or are unintelligible, which they are sometimes, or obviously nothing to do with cardmaking, I just delete, or send to spam and then delete. x

Hi, Kate. I do not use moderation on comments but I get emails with the comments and I always read all of them. If I see a spam (and some times I see spams but not often) I just delete it.
I also want to tell you that I love your beautiful card. Aurora's stamps are always great. Lovely colouring and gorgeous design, my friend. Kisses!
