Alistair's Birthday Card!

Hello Friends and Visitors, I hope you are well. Mid week again, I must have blinked and missed the last few days since the weekend.

Been a quiet few days here, weather not all that good, dark and wet, but better today, clearer skies and temps up a notch.

Anyhow, I said that I would post Alistair's birthday card, his birthday was on Nov 5th so here it is,

The compass stamp is by Lavinia Stamps, and the small compasses in the background are from a Creative Stamping magazine as is the main sentiment. Elements ink to colour a background.

Off to have my Vit B injection this afternoon, this is always a nippy one, not my favourite way to spend some of my afternoon time.

Thank you for your lovely comments on my last post, always appreciated.

That's all for now, take care everyone and see you soon

Those stamps make a lovely masculine card Kate, don't know about you but I find them difficult and usually end up with a bird.

Weather pretty much the same here in the Fens, I've just been to Huntingdon and although it's sunny a real nip in the air.

OH! I love this Kate, the vibrant colours are perfect for this time of year, super stamps making a wonderful card. We are supposed to be in heavy rain, but the sun has come out, and the skies are clearing. They got it wrong again!

Hi Kate

A really lovely card for your hubby .. .. a very appropriate theme for him and beautiful colours. .

I wonder if he was born to a sky full of fireworks?!?!?

Quite envy you having a quiet few days. I seem to have forgotten what they feel like recently! LOL!

Hope your injection went well.

Love Jules xx

A fabulous card. I am sure Alastair loved it. Love the beautiful mix of colors. We have had a few dreary days, too. Me-not a fan. 😜

A lovely design for Alistair's birthday card. Hope you got on all right with your injection. I had to have a course of them last year and they were the only injection I didn't react to. Hugs Mrs A.

The compasses over that lovely bright smooshed background make the perfect card for Alistair as he enjoys his hill walking, and the perfect sentiment to finish it too Kate. Hope Alistair enjoyed his day and that your Vit B injection wasn't too painful. I had a shingles jab about a month ago and it was red and sore for much longer than expected, and I had a pain in the arm until quite recently too, but apart from a little redness still it does feel better. I have to have a booster in six months so hope that will not have the same effect..what a baby I am..lol. x
