Hello To You All, I hope all is well with you and that you've had a good day.
I had a Freestyle Libre 2 sensor fitted today to monitor BG. My fingers have been so painful with all the finger pricking over the years that I've lost some sensitivity, plus I have arthritis in them.
This system is revolutionary for folks with Diabetes, however it takes a bit of cuffuffle at the beginning, downloading the app, linking it all up on my phone, and understanding it all. Alarms are set to go off if my BG goes too low or too high , which is good because occasionally I do go low but have no symptoms to let me know, so now I will. Anyway, it will take a bit of time to get used to it, and be able to read the reports, but I'm sure I'll get there. Technology can be helpful.
So, here is my card for today,
Inspired by Jo Rice from the Lavinia Stamps DT, I used the Topper to make this card, with a couple of foraging fairies, fairy charms and roses from the latest release of stamps. Sentiment is also Lavinia.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my previous card.
I'm off now to have a look at your blogs, so I'll say cheerio and see you soon,

Beautifully designed Kate, the stamps are great
Loving this card Kate, just so different. The hats are fabulous with the two sweet little fairies and the charms. The roses are the 'cherry on the hats' excuse the pun lol! Hope you get used to your new sensor, it will be nice knowing it will alert you if your BG goes too high or low. Hoping you and Alistair are well.
Love & Hugs Jennifer xx.
It's great that you could monitor your Diabetes by your own, now! So helpful and quick!
Your card is amazing, and so different! Such great composition of hats and fairies! Love the splash of red on the roses and the "charms" that balance the hats!!
Hugs
Fab card Kate.

An amazing card Kate, I love it, and the little details too. As for the monitor, how super-duper is modern science. I hope it works for you. I think I should probably test my bloods more frequently, but was told by the Diabetic Nurse, "no need, as we monitor you every 6 months" We'll see, I have had my bloods tested today. Keep us informed how it's doing.
Good Luck

Oh my gosh I love this hat image. What a fun card.
Great card, I love the images and how you presented them,
I am a diabetic and have seen the new way of monitoring our blood sugar, mine goes low and i shake and go very hot when it goes down, not sure I want something fitter but it might be better than finger picking. I would be interested how you get on.
Hope you have some of the good weather we are having this weekend here down south
Good Morning Kate. Love your card, such a perfect and clean looking card. I love it. Hope you’re both well. I’m nearly blind at the moment in my left eye, but I will be in touch after my operation. Take care. Love & Hugs Rita xxx
