Hello Everyone, I hope your are well and having a grand weekend. We've had some lovely sunshine and was very warm.
Alistair has taken himself off to Glencoe, to try and escape all this coronation stuff, he's hoping to climb up the Buachaille Etive Mor, his favourite mountain. He'll be back tonight, so our peace and quiet will go.
We are both republicans, so I didn't watch any TV, so enjoyed a quiet few days with a couple of good books and some crafting. I've tried to contain my anger at the amount of money this is costing the tax payers, especially when there are so many people in dire need in this country.
Anyhoo, here is one of the little cards I've made this weekend,
This lovely fairy is called Bella, and the inspiration came from the very talented Jo Rice from the Lavinia Design Team. I've used various floral stamps and Elements Ink. Using the White Orbs stencil and Brilliance ink I made a bokeh effect.
Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my last card.
That's me for now, take care of yourselves,

Fabulous card Kate, love so much the warm colours and the bokeh effect makes it also more magic!
Also in Italy yesterday we have the Coronation all the day on TV (and when the Queen died we have a lot of days filled with the celebrations on TV).

Kate, this is sensational! The bokeh effect is perfection and makes me want to peer closer to my monitor to enjoy the warm ethereal scene you have created!
I had a bit of a catch-up because I've been away and gotten out of the habit of commenting like I used to. Then I saw your post about hanging up your Blogging hat and how so many feel the same way. Count me as one of them, too. I blame a lot of it on Covid and a lot of it on Instagram - or maybe a combo. I found that having too much spare time, not going anywhere and hence having no fun to speak of, nothing to talk about, the whole situation with our health and our politics becoming so depressing and the popularity of Instragam happening at the same time ... well, it all conspired to make a lot of our bloggie friends stop blogging or move entirely over to IG. It was enough people to make it noticeable. And then, for me, the final blow was when Blogger closed down Feedburner which was how I connected to everyone like you. It was my routine and I went from being able to quickly view dozens of blogs a day, to being able to view about five!
Sorry, I will stop myself. Next I'll lose this comment, eek! Anyway, I go back and forth, but I still love writing and sharing ... oddly enough I'm enjoying making cards more than ever. It's just trying to get back into a rhythm with locating blogs and commenting - which as you know, brought me a lot of joy - so I'm hoping to keep going for a while yet and I'm glad you were encouraged by others to do the same! Mwah! Hugs, Darnell
A very magical card.

Beautiful colours and I love the bokeh effect Kate and the sweet silhouette fairy sat on a leafy branch, and such beautiful background flowers too. x
