Hello Everyone, I hope you are all safe and well and not suffered any damage caused by these awful storms. I know some areas in England had a terrible time, and of course Wales was hit pretty badly.
North East was bad in Scotland, but we were let off quite lightly, had snow, but not the high winds.
Anyhoo, another fortnight has past and it's time again for the Christmas Card Club Challenge and Valery Anne has chosen the theme of Penguins, who doesn't love a penguin!
I only did one card this time;
I used a stamp set from Card-io called In a Flap, first time inked up and they are so cute. I made my little snowy slops and glittered them up, and dotted the little guys around them. The sentiment is a Card-io stamp too. I've added some of the penguin images to my envelop too.
Thank you Valery for your choice, I loved it.
Just before I sign off, thank you for the lovely comments on my Elf couple, I really do appreciate all your comments.
A quick post tonight, so I'll say cheerio for now, keep yourselves safe and see you soon,

Morning Kate. What a fabulous Penguin card. Like you we’ve had worse times and no snow. Keep Safe anyway. Watching the Curling this morning. Hugs Rita xxx
A great card Kate. I love all those different penguin images. Glad you weren't affected too badly by Storm Eunice. We had it pretty badly here but not as bad as some thankfully. Take care. Christine xx

Glad storms haven't damaged your zone. Pretty Christmas card and well done with the matching envelope!
Lovely card, I love your penguin image
I saw Scotland was having bad weather with the storms, we too were hit badly in the South west, I have never known a day when everything just stops, schools closed, buses, trains even Tesco stopped delivering, in fact we never saw any delivery's been done last Friday, we were lucky we did not lose our electric, but as you might have seen on Tv the church spire fell off a church in Wells, we dont live far from Wells which is the smallest city in England. our wheelie bin at the highest point of the storm did an F1 across the full length of the patio. its still very windy and pouring with rain today. Hope these storms just go away and spring starts soon
What a super fun card Kate and so nice with the matching envie. No snow here, but we seem to be in the mist of yet another storm and gales, seems never ending. Tiles are all over the place not to mention garden pots and such.

Love, love your little penguin scene that you have created. Winds were pretty bad here on Friday. We were lucky to just loose the one concrete post as the entire length of our property boundary is completely exposed to the elements.Didn't stop the squirrels coming in to feed though. Takes more than a pesky breeze to put them off!! Hugs Mrs A.
That's really adorable Kate x
Such a sweet card Kate, then penguins are so cute. It's throwing it down here right now. We had some heavy sleet showers yesterday but I think we've got off lightly. Take care and have a good week ahead x
Hi Kate

Hi Kate,
this is such a lovely card and those stamped penguins are so cute and wonderful.
Love the fab scene you have created and also the envelope to match it finishes it all off perfectly.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
This card is so cute. So very nicely done.
I live a long way from you...
but our weather was something else yesterday too.
Snow squalls.
They were warning everyone out driving on the road to be careful...
It was difficult to even see out the car windows with all the swirling snow. Fortunately for us, we didn't need to go anymore. Lots of snow in a very short time...and just as quickly it disapeared.
So cute, don’t have this set
I am glad you are OK with the storm, Kate. I LLLLLOVE your card with the penguins!!!!
Very high winds again last night and lack of sleep again! No snow though x. Your card is adorable and what cute penguins, which sure look like they are having fun Kate x.
Wow absolutley gorgeous, great colours and brilliant design. ♥
The weather is nuts. Last Thursday, we started off at 8C with rain...constant. it changed to freezing rain, ice and then snow because it dropped to -11 by the end of the day. I love your Penguins and the cute scene you created. I have to learn how to make an envelope
AW! your penguins are just adorable Kate. Love you did the envelope too, must try and remember to do this. As for the weather, we have a peaceful evening, no howling and banging things wind - at last! The wind has dropped, but more coming in for the West of Scotland, what a time you are having up there.
Keep safe and warm

Glad to hear the storm didn't do any damage for you. Was a bit hairy here but we think all is well. Love the scene you've created with the lovely different penguins. Super card. Zoe x

The penguins are adorable. Fabulous card Kate. Take care, hugs Flo xx
The penguins are so cute Kate and I love the added sparkle on the snow slopes and the bright yellow sun, and a perfect sentiment to finish. Glad you were OK after the storms..we did lose several panels of our fence and some of the others are rather shaky so we are replacing it all, but it could have been worse. x
What a fun card, I picture them waddling across your card, ha ha! Love how ou decorated the envelope too. Very cool, pun intended!!!
Hugs
Sue
