The Snowman and the Snow Dog!

Hello Everyone, I hope you're all well and having a good week. I can hardly believe that we are mid week already, the time is sure flying by.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my Christmas cards, I always appreciate them.

I've got another Christmas card today, and for those who have been following me for quite some time will know that I always make  a "The Snowman" card for my friend Fiona, here's this years creation,

A long time ago, before I even knew Fiona, I'd bought a whole collection of the Snowman from Crafter's Companion , with lots of papers, die cuts, cards and stamps, it must have been fate nudging Fiona and I to meet up, lol. She frames all of the cards, which is just lovely, anyhoo I hope she likes this one as much as the others. Sorry not the best of photos.

I had my covid booster on Monday and boy what a sore arm I've had since, I can hardly lift my arm up, however I'm sure it will lessen off soon, just glad to have got it. Alistair is going for both the flu and covid jab on Saturday, so that will be us all sorted. I never did get the results of my PRC  test, just as well I was okay.

Well, that's me for tonight, and getting settled down to watch Shetland, just love Douglas Henshall and of course the lovely scenery of the Shetland Isles. Take care and keep safe,

Love your card with of course the snowman, I too used to have the complete set until I gave up card making and sold everything so am now starting out again and having to buy everything all over again. Hope your arm feels better soon. Alastair is brave having both injections together two sore arms at the same time lol. Love Alison x

Yes I remember your annual The Snowman cards Kate and as always this is lovely for your friend.

Off for my Booster this morning, as with the first ones I got lost in the system and it's taken me a few weeks after hubby having his to get it sorted. Having to travel 50 miles for it which really isn't on, but at least the petrol panic is over.

A Beautiful card Kate, I can see why your friend frames them. I Love the smiles on the figures.
We had our boosters a couple of weeks ago, no side effects, BUT I had my flu vaccine last Thursday and my arm is as sore as when I had my first Covid. Silly things aren't we? Hope yours is better soon. We love Shetlands too, always a great storyline, I wonder if the reports are correct that the Nurse is a romantic interest? ;D

Hi Kate,
well that was fate for sure buying all those snowman and snow dogs items.
Your card is very lovely and a great snowy scene too.
I love the snowman and snow dog video so I can't understand why I never bouhgt this set.
I have my flu jab today and my covid one on thursday the 4th.
Not looking forward to the flue one as everybody I have spoken to says their arm was very sore after and my sister had a terrible rash.
My thirteen year old Granddaughter caught covid 3 weeks ago and luckily no when else in the house caught it.
She had just bad flue like symptoms thank goodness.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
