A Winter Scene!

Hello to Everyone, I hope you are all fit as fleas...well at least doing okay. Raining and dull today here, and beginning to wash the snow away slowly. Hope the weather is better where you are.

Are you all managing with your lockdowns? We are doing fine, thankfully, apart from staying home unless for necessary appointments, food shopping and exercise, we are managing to keep to the rules and are not all that much affected. I feel very fortunate for that.

It's going to be a while before I will be invited to go for the vaccine, I think Alistair will be in the trench before me, so we'll just keep going safely.

So, a Christmas card today, which I'm going to enter into; https://www.fezziwigsfestivefrolics.com/2021/01/anything-festive-goes-week-2.html

This image is a stamp from Creative Stamping Magazine, and I've inked it in blue ink. The sentiment is also from the magazine, Matted on to black card then glitter card. I few gems and some glitter. I rather like how it turned out as it's quite an unusual image.

That's for it today, hoping to get out for a walk but only if the rain calms down a bit.

Take care of yourselves and keep safe,

Hi Kate this is a stunning card. I love it. I think you are doing much the same as we are. It is going to be a while before we have a vaccination. Oh well we just have to stay safe until then. Take care. Hugs Jackie

This is beautiful Kate and love the scene within the outline of the stamp and it looks so pretty in blue with the darker background and a brighter blue around the edges, and the black and silver glitter card layers frame it perfectly. I have this set and have used some of the stamps but not this particular one but must remedy that soon as it makes a nice big focal point on a card. I love the white on black sentiment strips too to finish. My hubby is in the age group above me and hope that it won't be too much longer before we hear something. We do know of three people who have had the jab..one more local and a couple of family in Lancs who are all over 80. x

I love that stamp Kate, I was very tempted to buy the magazine and then it went out of my mind, I love it in blue and what a lovely sentiment. Good to hear the rain is washing the snow away, although not as pretty. Good to hear you are coping too.
Keep safe

I loved this stamp so much when you showed it last year I bought the magazine too!! Off to play with mine this weekend!!! Your card is super, love the colours you have gone for. Alls ok here, just keep sitting on the worry. Things are progressing rapidly with the vaccine so hopefully we should be more normal soon!! Thank for sharing with me over on Fezziwigs, Love Hazel xx

This is such a gorgeous stamp! I love it. I have a deer with a forest scene in it and I love that one too. Our Granddaughter is an Art major graduate, and painted a 42x36 inch canvas with a Buffalo with the forest trees in the body part. She was commissioned to do it and it turned out absolutely gorgeous.
