Christmas Rose!

Hello Everyone and I hope I find you well having had a good day.
We has a lovely trip out to Nairn today and took a packed lunch with us and sat in the car watching a very grey cold sea whilst eating. Certainly too cold to be sitting out. There were some pretty high waves rolling in. I managed a walk to the end of the harbour so I was pleased with that. It fairly blew the cobwebs away.

Thank you for the lovely comments on my last cards, you are very kind and I always appreciate each comment and the time it takes to visit.

I have a little card for the https://scrapsoflifebyscrappymo.blogspot.com/2019/11/november-rudolph-days-challenge.html

I'm still looking out and using up stash I've had for years, and I found this lovely Christmas Rose image, and a packet of silver peel off embellishments, and then a beautiful piece of embossed card, I think it's turned out rather well.

Just a short post today,  I've got some emails to respond to, one that need to go into a card going to Australia and has to be mailed pretty soon, so I'll love you and leave you and see you soon,

Hi Kate,
Happy Rudolf Days.
What a very wonderful card and that Christmas Rose image is so lovely.
Christmas Roses and Poinsettias just always make special cards.
This is great to use up older stuff I think we forget to do this sometimes.
Thank you for joining the Rudolf Challenge.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
PS your outing sounded lovely reminded me of the days hubby and I used to do that.

Raining cats and dogs here at the moment.has been for past 3 days. Managed to sort the sewing machine out so have used it on a few cards. Some still to show. Your card looks fab . My box of sticky peel offs is always my go to box both for edging and sentiments. Love the Christmas rose in the centre . The silver edging sets it off to a T. Having a quick cuppa and Catching up in blogland. Hugs Mrs A. +🧚‍♂️

Re the dear koala, yes it was sad, many more from what we saw driving Monte to boot camp, would not have survived. The ground and trees were bare and black...today is another smokey day but we pray the fire bugs are not around. What can be done about them? Mental health issues and the obsessive behaviour of lighting fires and causing destruction..hugs and have a lovely weekend.xx

I like this pretty winter rose. Mum had these in her gardens along the farm borderlands, and I always thought they were so pretty.

I have been using up old stash as well. Especially when I made those 72 birthday cards for charity. It sure felt good. But it seems there are hundred more, hidden away so well that I had forgotten about them!

Here is to a great 2020 and a happy and healthy New Year!
