Snowmen for the CCC!

Hello from a very wet Inverness, a bit cold too. Are we in for an early Autumn??
Anyway, I do hope all is well with you and are having a good Saturday. We were going to go into town this morning but it was really too wet and miserable, so decided to stay put at home and scrape through the food cupboards to come up with something for tonight's dinner. Mac and cheese, so we won't starve,lol.

It's time again for the Christmas Card Club ladies to show their creations.....where has the last two weeks gone! Our lovely Mrs A also known as Valery Anne is our hostess and she has chosen Snowmen or Snowman. It's bound to be a favourite with everyone, I know it is with me, here's what I've come up with;
Not a great photo as it's so dull outside, but you will recognise Card-io stamps, and I've put a ton of glitter but it's not showing and I've lightly inked the background, that's not showing either.
Next;
Here is Archie and Pals from Hobby Art stamps, he is so sweet,as are his pals. Coloured with Copic and chunky EP for snow. A few gems and an old paper from a paper pad that seems to no longe have a name.
And another,
More Hobby Art stamps, this time this wonderful snowman is from the Winter Wishes stamp set. I've stamped him on water colour card with embossing ink and used Wow powder in Icicle blue, and added colour with Zig watercolour pens. Kraft card in the background heat embossed with Wow powder and snowflakes. I've glossed his nose and added some gems.

I hope these will do Valery, a most enjoyable challenge so thank you so much.

I'm scheduling this post for tomorrow for when the CCC challenge goes live. Please take a look at the cards the other girls make, they are always fab.  I used to have all their names on my side bar without realising that if you clicked on them you got nowhere, and I've not learned how to do that yet, somethings beat me lol.

That's me for now, take care and thank you so much for all your lovely comments on my last car, see you soon,

three beauties Kate, though I don't want to see any snow yet, the snowman in the second card is really naughty juggling with these poor penguins, miserable here yesterday too, where did all the rain come from?

What a happy collection of cards Kate, I think everyone loves a snowman and they really do bring a smile to your face. I think you may well be right about an early Autumn as there are signs of change here as well.

Well Kate , maybe my resolution is good because I can definitely see the shading in the background and quite a bit of glitter too. It's funny how different computers/monitors show different things. I'm using a desk top PC with a very large screen so it could be that. Anyway it looks great and i love how he is almost celebrating. The second one is amusing but the penguins seem very happy. It's funny that you and Rachel have used the same snowman (card#3)because it is not exactly a common one. Three super cards. Hugs Christine xx

Three very beautiful cards Kate, love the images you have used, and if anyone doesn't adore snowmen then I think there's something wrong with that person lol! Thank you lovely lady for all the beautiful comments you have left me the last couple of weeks, they are much more appreciated than you know. Hoping to catch up a little from now on xx

I think you are right about an early Autumn Kate. Hubby and I went for a long walk last week and we were crunching our way through the leaves on the ground. We also noticed how the colour of the trees was starting to change and that they weren't so green any more. There's a definite nip in the air on a morning now too. I do love Autumn though with it's wonderful colours. Talking of wonderful, I should really get on to your cards..... Absolute beauties, each and every one of them. snowmen cards always seem to make me smile and these are no exception. Great cards Kate. Take care and stay warm x

I adore your Snowmen Threefer, Kate! Each one is as adorable as the one before! I love the drifts you created in the first one with your light inking and I can use my imagination for all the schparkle! Your juggling fellah is one I haven't seen before; it makes me smile from ear-to-ear! I love the snowy texture. And your goofy last guy is just a hoot! He better stop looking down his carrot nose or his eyes will stick that way! I hope you get some last summer sunshine soon!! Hugs, Darnell

Hi Kate, I am so glad you found me again, I did close my blog when my daughter had her surgery I thought it would be better to concentrate on her and getting her back on her feet again, but to everyone surprise they didn't need to take all her bowel away and she has been fitted with a stoma bag, she is actually waiting on more surgery to change it for a loop ileostomy to a plain one so it only has one end, she struggled for a few weeks but got on with it and she has even gone on to work for the police, its changed her life, I then decided that I needed to be creative again but my old blog had gone and I couldn't have the name back, so I have had to start again, I have not been posting very much but everything has fell back in to place now, I am lucky to be back on both The Paper Shelter and Lili of the Valley design teams, so life after 2 years is back to normal...

I couldn't remember everyone who I followed by blog name so I am so pleased you came to see me now I can follow you everyday...

I just love the snowmen cards they are so cute, I especially love the one juggling the penguins :0)

Big hugs Pops x
