Hello to You All, I hope you are all feeling better than I am, my cold has really kicked in and I'm doped up with the Day and Night Nurse and a cough mixture.
However I did want to get my card into the Rudolph Challenge and it's a short month, here it is;
This was a card I made for my friend Mrs. Duck at Christmas, but only now posting it. The sleigh stamp is an old one I've has since I more or less started crafting and I use it every year for someone special. It's by Papermania. I'm pleased to say Ang loved it.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to visit me and leave such lovely comments.
I'll say cheerio for now and see you soon,
I would like to enter my card into;

New Home!
Hello Everyone, hope all is well with you and that life is good. Sorry not to have been around and commenting just lately, but we have been down in Glasgow helping Alistair's brother and niece to move home....all so bad timing but hey ho that's life. So we were very busy for a few days and have come back home absolutely whacked and with colds, however, Jim and Karen are moved in to a lovely flat with a lift, making it much easier for Jim and with the most wonderful view as they are seven floors up; for the Scots amongst you.... the view goes all the way to the Campsie Hills. Mind you so good to be back home again.
Here is the card I made for Jim and Karen;
This is a lovely digital image from Lavinia Stamps, and coloured with my new Copic Markers. Background paper is from Crafty Individuals. The sentiment is also from Lavinia. What a job I had trying to resize these stamps as they came in PDF form, and I just couldn't crop them, so just had to print them out in the large size they arrived in, making for a large card. I installed a photo editor to help, but couldn't make head or tail of it. I just usually use the one that comes with the computer, but PDF things don't work in it, however, I think this is okay.
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last card, all comments are appreciated.
I'm hoping to get around to commenting on your lovely projects soon, but please forgive if I miss you. It's a lot to catch up on.
Off to the surgery to have blood taken for my diabetic review, I absolutely hate it, having said that I expect everyone does, but needs must, I just hope the nurse can find a vein easily, I always feel like a pin cushion.
Have a lovely day and I'll see you soon,

Christmas Birds for the CCC!
Hello there Everyone, hoping you are all well and enjoying your weekend.
It's time again for the Christmas Card Club girlies to show their latest cards and this time it's our new member Gwen who's chosen the theme and she would like to see Christmas Birds. Always a brilliant choice I think, so thank you Gwen, I had fun with this one and got to use a couple of stamps that I bought before Christmas, but hadn't got around to inking up.
It's a Robin... well you can't beat one on a Christmas card can you. It's a Hobby Art image and sentiment, and I've coloured it with SN pens. Oxide ink on the background and framed it with a Tonic die....at least I think it is, but it's wrapper is long gone, so who knows. SN sparkle pens to give glitz and a few sequins.
And it's another Robin by Hobby Art, and coloured with Graphic pens, the lovely paper in the background is from SU. Sentiment is from JND.
Thank you all for the lovely comments on my Valentine card, we had a lovely Dine in for 2, stuffed afterwards.
That's me for now, scheduling this for tomorrow when the CCC blog goes live. Enjoy your evening and the remainder of your weekend and see you soon,

Happy Valentine's Day!
Hello to Everyone, I hope things are good for you and your day is going well.
I've manage to put the parasite treatment on Teallach, I've got to psych myself up to do it, and I've got washing out as it's not a bad day, so all in all my day is going fine. Tomorrow, it's the turn of the wormy treatment for puss...oh he hates it and I think hates me for doing it to him. The joys of having pets lol.
Thank you all for your lovely comments on my last card and the well wishes for our Jim, all so much appreciated.
Well, Valentine's Day, and I've made a card for Alistair;
I took a little inspiration from a card I'd spied on Pinterest. I've had the tiny envelope and the cushioned hearts for the longest time and so pleased to have a chance to use them. SU embossing folder, Xcut heart die and an Inkylicious sentiment. Glad to say he love it.
I bought a M&S Dine in for 2 Valentine meal for tonight, and the best bit is that I don't have to cook.
Well, that's me for now, a quiet day at home, although I've got someone coming to measure the living room windows for slatted blinds, Teallach has ripped the vertical ones and what a mess he's made of them. Cuillin too had a go at them years ago, but I managed to sew the damaged vein, boy was that tough going, so the time had come to renew them and I think wooden blinds will be cat proof.
So cheerio for now and see you soon,

Sending Loving Thoughts!
Hello Everyone, here we are at the start of another week, I hope you are well and enjoyed your weekend. Don't they come and go so quickly????
Beautiful sunny day here but low, low temperatures, with quite a wind chill. Sadly, two Scottish climbers fell and were killed last week, two well known guys in the climbing community, and one of whom Alistair knew. They were very experienced, but something just went wrong. I guess that's nature, the men will be a sad loss, one was from Inverness too. Alistair laughs when I tell him to be careful, that even the most experienced of folk can get caught out, but that's what mountain climbers do, no stopping them, and I do know that they do take care, but sometimes, nature takes over.
Anyway, thank you for the lovely comments on my last card, and I'm happy o say that Moreen loved it. Welcome to my latest follower too, so pleased you decided the click the button, and I hope you pop in often.
Here's my latest card, made for Jim, just a wee bit of encouragement as he starts his chemo on Wednesday,
I used a MFT stencil with Oxide inks and a little sparkle pen . The sentiment is from Chocolate Baroque. Sequins only because I splodge a bit of ink.. A simple wee card really.
Well that's me for now, a bit of ironing before teatime, then out to choral practice. Take care of yourselves and see you soon,

I Spy!
Hello Everyone, I do hope all is well with you, but sending positive thought to those who need them.
This week is getting away from me once again, I really don't know where the days go....too fast that's for sure.
Thank you all for the lovely comments and the good wishes for my Jim, they are most appreciated.
I'm still not back to crafting all that much, only making the cards that are necessary, like this one for Moreen, DIL whose birthday it is tomorrow;
My lovely friend Mrs. Duck sent me this lovely Sweet Poppy stencil, called I Spy, at Christmas and I immediately thought of Moreen's card. I've used Imagination Craft Sparkle Medium in Silver on to black glossy card. Black and silvery grey glitter card and the base card is a dark grey for SU, Little heart gems and a sentiment from Creative Stamping free stamps on to velum, sequins and job done. A little difficult to photograph with all that silver, but you get the idea.
Alistair is away up a mountain today, I can never get my head around trudging through knee deep snow, but it makes him happy, so it will be a later dinner tonight. Our mountains look stunning with all the snow, but I prefer to just look at them.
That's me for now, keep safe and cosy and see you soon,

Angels or Fairies for CCC!
Hello Everyone, I hop you are well and keeping safe and cosy in all this awful weather that's hitting the country at the moment. We are very cold, but thankfully the snow at low level has almost disappeared. Snow is wonderful but not when you have to go out in it other than to make a snowman Lol.
It's time again for the Christmas Card Club to show their latest cards and this time it's Granmargaret choice of theme and it's Angels or Fairies.
I went for Angels and found some lovely little images and papers from old copies of Making Cards magazines.
Nothing complicated just images and papers stuck down. Although I did cut the oval , it looks a bit wonky though. I hope they will do Margaret. It was good to use stash that I never use, so thank you for your choice.
Alistair is now back home having spent a few days with his brother and niece. Jim had his biopsy results and they have offered him Chemo which he is taking. Without it he would only have around 9 months, but with the treatment going well, he's be told it would gain him around another couple of years.....so the best outcome really. Jim is still very positive, and awfully brave as he knows that it will most likely be a rough ride. Karen is more settled after the initial shock of the diagnoses and focusing on keeping her Dad well, helping him change his diet to more veggie dishes, and making sure life carries on as normal. So there we are for now. Thank you all for the kind comments and words of encouragement.
Thanks too for the lovely comments on my last card for the CCC, at least these ones will be on time.
