Sentiment as Focus for the CCC!

Hello Everyone I hope you are well and enjoying your weekend.  We've been for a lovely walk along the side of Loch Ness at Dores and boy was it rough. I've never seen the loch with such turbulent waters and the waves fierce. Very dramatic.

Another fortnight has gone and it's time for the CCC ladies to show off their creations and this time it was our lovely Sylvie who did the choosing and she would like to see the Sentiment as Focus, so without further ado here is what I've come up with;

Both very simple cards using an Xcut die. The first card has a shadow made by cutting the die out twice and the second card is matted on to a JND EF. Gems and sequins and that's that.

Please remember to check out what the other ladies have created, you'll find there names on my side bar.

Thank you all for the lovely comments on my last card, very kind of you and most appreciated.
Just before I go here is a photo of  the Loch from our walk today, there was some sunshine between the hills looking down the Loch but unfortunately it hasn't shown  up.

Take care everyone and see you soon,

good Morning Kate. What beautiful cards you have created for Sylvie's challenge. They really do stand out and would adorn any room at Christmas. Much better morning here the skies are blue with lovely fluffy clouds so its looking promising. Hugs Rita xxxx

Morning Kate, that's a really striking sentiment die and looks very effective with the drop shadow. Blustery here as well.

Two fabulous cards Kate. I love that die. In your photo of the loch we may not be able to see the actual sun but you can see the rays radiating down. A very atmospheric picture. Hugs Christine xx

Hi Kate,
2 very wonderful cards and they are both so very lovely.
That die is super and you have used it wonderfully.
My that is a very dramatic photo of Loch Ness.
In the 2 weeks I was on holiday there I never saw it that rough.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Two fab cards, love the blue. I think I need a walk by a loch or by the sea, not sure that rivington reservoir quite cuts it!

These cards are wonderful! I just love that die cut piece, so fancy and really makes a great card front! Love how you layered it in the first card to create a shadow effect, but I think all the glitter in the second card has stolen my heart! I do love me some glittery Christmas cards! lol. Your photo of the Loch is magnificent, wow! I love how you captured the sun rays filtering through the clouds, so beautiful! hugs :)

These are both so pretty, KAte. The first looks wonderful with the shadow of the two layers.
The second seems bolder...perhaps because of the brighter colour for the die cut.
Love them both...cannot pick a fave!
